Stopped in while on the road to grab a quick bite. Staff is very kind and professional, and the food is a touch salty but delicious nonetheless. Ordered the prime rib to split and for the price, the flavor, size, and quality were pleasantly surprising.
My first trip to Big Apple has now become a regular night out for dining! Such a great menu, and at a price that won't break the bank. When you can enjoy an entrée, main course and dessert for 4, that would've cost that much for 2 anywhere else, that alone made it worth it.
I had an excellent dinner at The Big Apple Restaurant in Peru, IL and it was worth the drive! I ordered a large broiled ribeye cooked medium with mushrooms, and it was perfect — juicy, tender, and seasoned exactly right. Easily one of the best ribeyes I’ve had anywhere.
