They offer a variety of food choices and the prices are pretty good. Sometimes they offer really good deals for lunch/dinner items. Unfortunately, since Wahlburgers invaded the space it has really gone downhill. The employees that work the hot food area seem to disregard the customers. Breakfast on the other hand is very good. They have fresh squeezed orange juice, the food is good and it's about the same price as a fast food chain.
Hyvee has a butcher shop cutting fresh meats and also carries a diverse seafood selection. This isn't Walmart where everything is prepackaged sitting on the shelf past the expiration date. Shop Hyvee! There is also a cafe inside the grocery store.
They have a very good burger, possibly one of the better burgers and fries around. Very worth the cost. Fresh cut fries, hand formed patty and cooked well. If you want some good food, go and make sure Chris is working. He cares about cooking and it'll show in the food and presentation. Well worth it and people should try it more.
