Great food, random but great selection. My only complaint is the music is SO loud. Like, actually unreasonably loud. There were literally like 3 tables the whole time we were there and the fact that we had to yell at each other was comical- but irritating.I do wish their bahn mi was always available... It was amazing.

I really wanted to like this place, I will say the atmosphere is very nice , needless to say I have been to hundreds of sushi restaurants across the country and this is by far the worst sushi I’ve ever had. I’m not the type of person to leave bad reviews but they were rude about it as well. My recommendation is to drive 20 min and go to BASH in Ottawa it will be worth the drive.

Lived in Japan for 2 years. Sushi doesn’t even come close, store bought sushi might actually taste better. Edamame tasted not fresh. Miso possibly made with river water, tasted awful. Would not recommend at all, place was overpriced and food quality was very poor. Don’t waste your time if you are looking for a decent meal.

I used to really enjoy this place. However, the last couple times I was there weren't the best. I ordered an appetizer and it was forgotten about and the next time the wait was incredibly long. I tried to call tonight to see if takeout is available and it seems the phones are not working. My boyfriend also tried to call and there is no answer. We probably won't be coming here again. We go to BASH in Ottawa now for a better guest experience.

We recently went here and it wasn’t too bad. The service was good, with our waitress being very pleasant and always checking on us, but not being overbearing. And the ambiance is great, with good music in the background and some nice, modern decor. The food was a little mixed, though. While the burgers were good, they weren’t of a quality to justify the cost. And the sushi was very hit or miss. We got a “Sushi Burrito” and the knife work was off, though our sashimi was tasty. And there were several things on the menu that we couldn’t order, though they were still listed. A more accurate score would be 3.5 stars. I’d definitely give it another try, but it feels like it won’t be worth the cost, overall.

Fantastic modern atmosphere, friendly staff and amazing food. I love that they have a unique menu and have options for non-sushi lovers. They also have a kids menu if you just ask. Their apple pie egg rolls are so tasty and do yourself a favor and splurge on the jalapeño bacon wontons! The BBQushi was by far the most interesting we tried and definitely my favorite.

Great Restaurant. Much better than going to the same boring stuff on the far north end of Peru. Wide variety of food to choose from. Hand cut fries were very good (too much salt on them though). Sushi was very flavorful and nicely presented on the plate. Many different burgers and sushi to choose from.My wife actually didn't like the Ramen so much, she just ate the toppings in the bowl and left 80% of the dish on the table to get thrown away. My wife is 100% Asian (Chinese) and didn't like the noodles and broth in this restaurant's Ramen dish. The server asked what was wrong and understood. He was very nice and offered an order of sushi to go, on the house. This simple act of kindness from the server takes this place from a 4 to a 5.Everything I ordered was good (burger, sushi, fries). I think for the Peru, Illinois area, this restaurant is a little pricey compared to others around. It's not something I'm going to go to all the time, but I definitely would recommend it to friends. It's a nice break from the boring chain restaurants.

Tempura shrimp, two different sushi rolls, an order of fries and a few beers - all perfectly done. The service was flawless - very attentive. We felt the prices were a little high. Ended up with an $83 tab for lunch. Yet, no complaints about quality or service.

After seeing the menu on Facebook, the wife and I decided to have lunch. Now...just letting you know up front, that I'm not a sushi kind of guy, so I can't attest to the quality of that product. Having said that, the specialty burger and truffle fries were GREAT! Good looking salads on the menu, along with a full bar complimented our visit. The facility was also wonderfully clean and cared for. Thank you to the wait staff who treated us so very well. We'll be back.
