Cute little home town bar around d Springfeild. Great service and lots of tvs for the games. I heard the cheese curds are good there, will try next time.

Attempted to come in for dinner on a Saturday evening. Parking lot was full to the point we got the last remaining space. Made our way inside to find a packed house. Didn't appear to be any empty tables. Everyone standing around practically shoulder to shoulder drinking. Took about 5 seconds to realize this isn't really an atmosphere for enjoying a dinner & out the door we went. Maybe we'll try a different time & day of the week bc at 7pm on a Saturday you'd think this is the only place that serves alcohol in Menard County.

Been to the tavern a few times. I can tell you the cheese curds are the best in Menard County. Great atmosphere and love the pizza. You guys have a great business!

I have been there when there's a great, very welcoming bartender then this visit was meh. The pizza was good not great, and every other food item is deep fried so I'd call it more like an appetizer selection not meals for sure. I can picture sitting outside in summer being nice with views of the park. I will go back as I've had a few good visits before.
