Joes Pizza of Pinckneyville

Really wanted to like it but it was pretty mediocre. Maybe my standards are higher considering I'm not from the area but the menu looked exciting with some pretty good options. We ordered the Honey Pepperoni. Toppings were good but the crust was not. Clearly frozen crust with no flavor and very doughy. Our party ordered 3 different pizzas and 2 of the 3, we did not get the toppings we ordered. Not sure what happened but we aren't super picky so we just went with what they brought. One we ordered the thick crust, that was the biggest mistake. Almost inedible. It was only marginally thicker than the regular but just more tasteless undercooked doughiness. Bread sticks were good 😂

I have a lot of things to say about this restaurant first off I went in to dine and my server Ariana was great she asked what I need and how I was doing and delivered everything timely she was was very polite. Second off the food was great I got Italian Beef with pepperoncini's and the food was great it was out within 10-15 minutes while the restaurant was packed from the panthers basketball game (the local high school team) there was some noisy people but the server got my food out on time. I want to than this establishment for there service and kindness and special thanks it my server Ariana (I think I spelled that right).

Parking: Lots of people but still a lot of parking in the back.

Had an incredible soup and very generous spaghetti dinner here. Very reasonable priced. Italian pastas and pizzas, of course. Cozy booths and tables. Friendly staff.

Best fried pickles in the WORLD!

Dietary restrictions: Not good if you have a restricted diet.

Parking: Narrow and long parking lot with very few parking slots.

Kid-friendliness: Kids like their diverse menu & highchairs & booster seats are nice & welcoming.

Wheelchair accessibility: No handicap ramp, but the door there aren't stairs, if you get past the ratty parking lot the entry is wide enough for a wheelchair.

I love driving through town and seeing a Joes Pizza and Pasta. This is by far one of my favorites! Great staff and great service 10/10 would recommend

Joes food is great! I pre-ordered food for an hour in advanced pick up. When I went there they told me that they didn't have the pizza I ordered due to no alfredo but would make me another one.. I was a bit bummed since I had ordered an hour in advance and they never called. Even with this they did get another pizza made within 10 minutes so quick turnaround. When I opened the box it was the same pizza they said they couldn't make. So things turned out but I was a bit confused. This has been our first mishap so no harm we love Joe's.

Ordered what we thought was the special but the order was all wrong. The manager came to our table to ask us what we ordered and was not at all nice or professional. We heard her yelling at her employees in the back. This restaurant was out of straws, certain salad dressings, no ice in the drinks and the food was overcooked. We heard the waitress also telling two other tables that certain items were not available. We have been at other Joe’s restaurants and ALWAYS have such a good experience. We will not be returning to this one however. We hope the manager somehow learns that her job is to be professional and treat her employees and customers with respect.

Only plate at our table that was edible was the lobster Ravello. They were out of angel hair pasta, shrimp and the Alfredo sauce was very thin. To over powered by chili pepper flakes. Need better recipes.
