Ownership doesn't properly staff for the demand but otherwise it's fine

I ordered a bacon egg and cheese on flatbread. The employee got the flatbread out and held it up funny and gave it a weird look. She then walked to the next employee who was helping another customer and held up the flatbread and whispered something to her. The second employee looked at the flatbread, touched it and squeezed it and said “it’s fine”. When the first employee brought it back to me, I asked what’s wrong with the flatbread? She said “oh nothing “. I gave her a weird look because obviously I just saw the whole thing that just went on. Then she said, “oh I was just wondering if it was stale because it’s been sitting in there for so long. It’s fine, it’s fine”. Needless to say, I decided not to order anything after that and left.
