Big Pauly's Wood Fired PIZZA

This is hands down the best pizza place in or near Plainfield! We have been coming here since they opened and every time we come it is the same amazing pizza! Fresh ingredients amazing service and can not say enough about the food and friendly service, even when they are slammed on a Friday night. Thanks Pauly and family you are a true asset to Plainfield!

The gal with the short purple hair needs to work on her attitude. She clearly isn’t a parent nor should she be working with customers. Shame on you.

The girls at the front were so genuinely kind, our waitress was so attentive and gave great recommendations. The food was also very good! I didn’t get the pizza I wanted cause I was with my kids however the cheese pizza we did get was amazing the dough knots were so good!!! Definitely will be back to try more and so mad I haven’t not been here before!!

Pizza is excellent and the staff is really friendly. Reduce the salt on the pizza and add some flavor to the vodka pasta bowl and it would be a 5 star place.

The pizza was very good. I liked the basil seasoning and garlic in it. It was a very clean place. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

I recently got a chance to try Big Pauly’s Wood Fired Pizza on a recent visit to Plainfield. From ordering, all the way to pick-up, service was extraordinary. It’s very rare to see this level of accommodation at any restaurant, let alone a pizza restaurant. The staff were great, very friendly, helpful and interactive. I ordered a “Butcher” pizza, essentially a meat lovers. Prices were a little on the high side compared to some other similar wood fired pizza places in the area, but I am always willing to pay more if the quality is there. The toppings were a generous amount and tasted fresh. The cheese was a good amount and had a good melt, you can tell when a low moisture mozza is used. The sauce was a good amount, yet I found it to be very tart, almost sour. May have been an off day or maybe just a personal taste. The crust was dynamite, well flavoured, yet simple and cooked nicely. It had an airy, yet chewy taste, very nice. Overall, very well made pizza and incredible staff. Definitely worthwhile you check out Big Pauly’s if you are in the area or are craving a great pizza.
