Stopped in for lunch. I had prime rib sliders. They were outstanding. The server was a little stiff. Not sure if he was new, and maybe a little busy, but he did not seem friendly. He wasn't rude, just kind of flat with his speaking and did not look happy. The reason for the 3 stars- I felt like the place needed to be cleaned better. The table felt greasy and that was kind of off putting, especially during a pandemic. Not sure if it was because of the cleaners they do use...
Start going to Fox's starting in Orland in 1970's now closer to this 1. Maybe I'm sentimental, but prefer the seating in Orland. Meet here occasionally with friends and always enjoy. Food is good, but my sweet potatoes fries burried under a good amount of shrimp other day would have been bit better if cooked a bit more. Food is good.
Had buffalo chicken sandwich and it was the best I ever had. Great food and ambiance was very good. Server was polite and came to our table very often to see how everything was and if we needed anything! I'm from the Kankakee area and was visiting my sister and brother in law in Joliet. Definitely will be back to try out different food choices. ?
