Plainfield IL, Front Street location is closing and today is the last day (02/05/2023). Very sad as we've been coming here for the last 20 years. Had the Mahi Mahi fish tacos on soft corn shell. Sauces on the side with side of Mexican Rice. Great food and vibrant atmosphere. Thank you

I used to love this place, but quality of food has tanked. The pork (carnitas) was like eating beef jerky, dry and flavorless. I couldn't eat it. Prices have gone way up (not their fault) and quality has gone way down. Food comes out a little too fast so it's all premade and microwaved. If I go again I'll stick to vegetarian or cheese. Waitress when I told her it was awful didn't care, didn't try to do anything to make it right. I think I'm done with this place. On the plus side, chips and salsa are always great.

I really enjoyed the taste and quality of the chicken and beef enchalida. I told the server to compliment the cook as I was very pleased with the entree.

Giving it 2 stars because our server was good. The food on the other hand was simply tasteless. I've had bigger and more flavorful burritos at taco bell. Even the guac was tasteless. Save your money and find another Mexican joint

Wonderful local restaurant.Very fast service. Tell the waiter to HOLD your main dish if you want to take time to eat.The food is NOT SPICY.Wheelchair accessibility: There aren't any steps to go into the restaurant.

It was okay. Food portions weren't as big as I remembered but was not bad. Food came out so fast like it was heated and served but again not taste bad , just bad for the price.

We went for lunch today. It was not good like it used to be a few years ago when I was last here. The guacamole had no flavor, the salsa was pretty bland with HUGE chunks of onion, the green ice was undercooked and crunchy, and even the drinks were not great. The sangria tasted like straight wine with no fruit flavor and my flavored margarita tasted like a regular margarita. It was not a good experience. Such a bummer.

Food is not fresh at all, I had an Al pastor torta and the bread was old and crunchy. My daughter got chicken nuggets and they literally taste like plastic. The most ok thing were my wife’s enchiladas. First time trying, definitely not going back.

Terrible service and food. We sat at the bar and the bartender left half way thorough the meal. Cold food stale chips cut up bitter tomatoes was salsa. Not friendly just awkward.
Horrible food. I will say that the drinks are ON POINT - DELICIOUS! Salsa is just a bunch of cut up tomato and if you ask for spicy sauce, it's crazy spicy. Chips were stale. Rice and beans have no taste. This place has changed. We ordered the pork in adobe sauce and it used to be fantastic. This time there was barely any pork and it was pretty much simmered in tomato sauce and served that way. Corn tortillas are actually flour, no matter what they tell you. NOTHING is authentic here anymore. Horrible horrible food. Seems like they just throw a bunch of stuff together. Service however was fast.

Average. This was very Americanized bland Mexican food. Your El Paso at home is better. Also, we were amongst the first customers and the tables and booths were dirty.

Bland and over priced food. Definitely the whitest "Mexican" place in town and calling it Mexican isn't even close. 19.5 for fajitas with no taste. Salsa that is only tomatoes. No refills on the mediocre chips. Elotes has no flavor despite the "seasoning". This place used to be the hit in town. Will be going down to habanero for some actual flavor, plus it's cheaper.

Came here for drinks with co workers and it was great. We didn't stick around for food but we had nice strong drinks and great service. Will be back again when I'm in the area
