Giordano's is my personal go to in Chicago for Chicago style pizza
People will have their favorites, and this is mine. Have I tried them all? No, not yet, but Giordano's never lets me down.
Beyond the pizza, the calamari and the tiramisu were excellent as well.

I ordered from Plainfield Giordano, October 11th,2024. First, the lady who took the order messed up my address 3-4 times, and then another lady called me back, saying the driver could NOT find the house, so I repeated the address to her several times and she goes that is not the address we have and I nice explained to her because the lady who took my ordered kept messing it up, this after it took over a hour to deliver it, finally I called them again after another 1/2hr has gone by and said to cancel my order, but they insisted I take the order and next time we get $20 off our next order. The driver got there 5 min later, and I told him I do NOT want the order anymore. He called his manager back, and he insisted I take the order. While I was eating, I found a hair on it, I thought it wuz probably our dog's hair. Herr is the kicker the next morning. I found more hair in my pizza. I WILL NEVER EAT AT Giordano again. PS This is my first negative review, I just don't WANT ANYONE else going through what me and my family and I went through.
Not only did two people mess up on the address, but because they messed up on my address but they thought it is ok to put their hair in my food. I AM MORTIFIED AND COMPLETELY DISCUSSED BY THEIR LACK OF CARE AND ACTIONS. I WILL NEVER EAT AT giordanos again, ESPECIALLY THE Plainfield one. UNOS OR LOUS FOR ME FOR NOW ON.

Ordered delivery. Dipping sauce is bland, cheese bread is super salty. Pizza sauce taste like chef boyardee and is salty as hell. Gave no fork and one napkin on a delivery to a hotel room.

Great pizza and Great service! Everyone from the cooks, servers and front desk reception are attentive and welcoming. The owners are very friendly and approachable. This is the best Girodanos you can go to! Better than the ones in the city!

The crust was nice and crispy but there was something a little off in the taste. That's just my opinion. Try it for yourself.

I really enjoy the gluten-free pizza option. Even though it comes in one size, it is still large enough to satisfy me. It's not a small factory made thin crust pizza like a lot of the other restaurants offer. It's thicker and crispier. Highly rated from someone who's been gluten-free for over 25 years.

It is a shame-the food is so great, service inside is great-but calling in an order for delivery, horrible. The girl on the phone was rude and impolite. Gee, I hope I wasn’t bothering her ordering food and paying her with my hard-earned money today, Sunday, 8/25/34 at 5:10 pm.

As a first-time Chicago-style pizza eater, I approached this experience with open-mindedness. My aunt's enthusiasm was contagious, and I was eager to dive into this local culinary staple.

The pizza boasted a unique cracker-thin crust that set it apart from anything I'd tried before. While my taste buds adjusted to the new texture, my family's delight was evident. The vegetarian pizza I ordered was generously topped with a variety of ingredients, all of which were flavorful except for the spinach. It was a shame that fresh spinach wasn't used as it would have elevated the dish. The vegetarian small was over $30.

Despite the spinach, I enjoyed the overall taste and am curious to explore the deeper dish option next time. It's clear why this pizzeria has been a beloved community member for so many years. Thank you Giordano's for introducing me to a Chicago classic!

Vegetarian options: The Chicago style deep dish vegetarian pizza that I ordered, seemed to used frozen spinach that they just put on in clumps instead of spreading it out. Not being a person that truly loves frozen spinach it would have been more appeasing to me if it was spread out a little bit more or if they just layered fresh spinach on there.
