Our food was over priced and not great. The Tacos lacked meat. The queso and salsa were decent. The salads were ok but not worth the money. When the 12.5 year old who was starving doesn’t finish his wings, you know you’ll try somewhere else next time.

Food was good when they finally returned our food as it was ordered. Took to long to even acknowledge us when we first set down. Service was terrible us being only one to be waited in as all waitresses stood by bar. Had to get up and ask if we were going to be waited on.

The waitress had us sit in a dirty table and chair where it was sticky and ruined my pants and she said oh sorry that happens. I was wearing khakis so it ruined them. I switched chairs and she almost had another person sit in the same chair instead of cleaning it. I don’t recommend going here.

It’s a great places to listen to live music. Open mic on Thursday. Friday usually an acoustic musician. Saturday a band. The Food is pretty good. It is a small menu though. Waitresses are usually very friendly and helpful. Especially Amanda, she is my personal favorite.
Kid-friendliness: Just a good neighborhood bar that people still feel comfortable enough to bring their kids. Wings and pizza are very good.

Great atmosphere, food and staff. My kids and I have been here several times and have had excellent service. Although on September 21, 2024, my youngest son and I had the best experience we've ever had there. Our server, Karina, was over the top outstanding, extremely attentive to our needs, even with several tables inside and outside that she had. She even recommended the loaded grilled cheese, which I had and it was fantastic!! Karina even took the time to talk to my son and me, even though it was obvious that she was busy. Due to continued service like this, we will definitely be back to Uptown Tap again in the future.

Very nice vibe. All the food is delicious. Sorry, so hungry did not take picks. I had Hot Honey Chx sandwich with O-Rings and my wife had bacon, mushroom, cheese burger with tater tots. I tried the tots. Very good! A little slow on the drink refill but I appreciate the serves work as a team. That is top tier service setup. We ate outside and it was awesome because it was a beautiful day but the hot direct sun was blocked by the building thank god!

Amanda is the best server EVER!!! She always takes care of my friends and I and and makes us feel at home, when I got sick in the bathroom she checked on me and brought me a water and a sprite and made sure I was okay. Couldn’t be more thankful and she is the perfect server. She deserves a raise!

We’ve been here a few times for the Plainfield pride events and she always goes above and beyond to make us all feel comfortable! Definitely recommend coming here if you want a safe, aesthetically pleasing place to enjoy your evening!
