Great spot for big family birthday breakfast. Cassandra was an amazing server who handled not only our group of 13 but 4 other tables. Food was amazing and prices are reasonable!

Kid-friendliness: 7 of our 13 were kids under 14 and food, service and seating could not have been better

Great place for breakfast and brunch. The food is always hot and comes out pretty quick. The coffee is not bad at all either. The pancakes are actually fluffy!

The service is friendly and great. Attentive but not overbearing. I like that you can pay at the table instead of the staff walking off with your credit card.

Atmosphere is a standard diner type experience. Nothing fancy. The place and cutlery are clean.

Plenty of parking available.

Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options but nothing using plant based meats like Impossible.

Honey Jam Café has been one of my favorite spots for breakfast with my wife, a place we frequent for its great food and usually welcoming atmosphere. However, our recent visit was disappointing due to the behavior of the young lady hosting at the front.

From the moment we entered, her demeanor was off-putting. She greeted us with an attitude, walked us to our table without a word, and when it came time to pay, simply flipped the screen around without so much as a “thank you” or acknowledgment. She was the first and last person we encountered during our visit, and her rudeness left a bad taste that overshadowed an otherwise pleasant meal.

The rest of the staff, as always, were fantastic—attentive and kind, making sure everything was perfect during our meal. It’s unfortunate that one person’s poor attitude can negatively affect the entire experience.

If you’re unwell or not in the right mindset to work in customer service, it’s better to take a day off rather than risk ruining the reputation of such a wonderful establishment. Honey Jam Café deserves better representation at the front, and I hope this feedback helps address the issue.

I've had a good visit here before, but this time in was not good. Went in for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Service and atmosphere were good and fine, but the food was an issue. It did not arrive at the table hot, tue hash browns were actually room temperature, and the plate was not clean. It had something green on it, assumed to be avocado, that smeared into the pancakes. Nasty. The place was busy and I guess just moving too fast. The waitress was good about it and took the pancakes off the bill, but it was overall a bad experience. I'll hesitate to go back.

We were seated immediately...and this was on a Sunday after church! The parking lot was full so we anticipated a wait, we were delightfully surprised when they had a few booths open. We did have to wait a bit longer than we like for our initial server arrival, but once he came to take our drink orders (I treated myself to the strawberry orange juice & it was yummy), everything else was quick! I opted for the veggie wrap with fries despite my notorious habit for French toast.... and I was not disappointed! We will DEFINITELY be back!

I always enjoyed dining at the Batavia/Geneva location before they closed down so I was excited to dine at this location. Overall, I was disappointed. My husband had chicken and waffles. He was served chicken tenders on top of a waffle versus fried chicken. I had a tuna panini melt. The ‘panini’ was not panini bread. It was more of a potato roll with a sweet flavor. I asked for them not to add the Swiss cheese along with the cheddar but they still added it. They also forgot one of my two add-ons: avocado. I ended up only eating the tuna, not the bread. I left hungry. One of my daughters got the Nutella crepes. The presentation was beautiful and she enjoyed her meal very much. My other daughter ordered the pumpkin pancake combo. She loved her pumpkin pancakes but there was a hair in her eggs so she did not eat them. We mentioned the Swiss cheese that was on my sandwich. Nothing was taken off the bill. We will not be back.

Kid-friendliness: This is a family-focused restaurant and is kid friendly.
