I drove far to come here to find out it was close. They need to update Google Store hours. Waste of gas driving to this location. I had to eat at Habanero, where the food was good!

I recently had the catfish sandwich & it was delicious ? Served hot, fresh, and very flavorful.

The History on Wheels hosted its annual Juneteeth celebration at the Joliet Area Historical Museum on Wednesday, June 19, 2024. We used Mama Sarah's Kitchen for catering and the food did not disappoint! Chef Arron Sain has magical hands!! We had fried chicken, fried catfish, baked salmon, collard greens, baked macaroni & cheese and cornbread. For dessert we has cheesecake, pound cake and banana pudding. Everything was so flavorful and delicious. My mouth waters as I think about the food. So many compliments from our guests about how the food was. Truly outstanding!! Thank you Chef Arron for your amazing service and delicious food! We will be having Mama Sarah's again!

I treated my family to Mama Sarah's yesterday. The catfish poor boy, and the chicken wings, greens , mac and cheese, pound cake, banana pudding all was outstanding. I will return on Friday.

Everything here is excellent! The catfish, the chicken, the shrimp, the cookies, the service! Everything! They have definitely gained a regular customer with me. Highly recommended if you are into great tasting food.

The food was perfect. The chicken wings and fish were seasoned and cooked perfectly. The greens and sweet potatoes with the cornbread are a great combination.This is a great place for soul food at a reasonable price. I definitely will be going back.

My experience at Mama Sarah’s was nothing short of exceptional… wings, salmon, chicken sandwich, Mac n cheese, and cheese cake were all 10/10… I will definitely be back to sample the other options on the menu. Highly recommend if your looking for home cooked comfort soul food
