The History on Wheels hosted its annual Juneteeth celebration at the Joliet Area Historical Museum on Wednesday, June 19, 2024. We used Mama Sarah's Kitchen for catering and the food did not disappoint! Chef Arron Sain has magical hands!! We had fried chicken, fried catfish, baked salmon, collard greens, baked macaroni & cheese and cornbread. For dessert we has cheesecake, pound cake and banana pudding. I truly enjoyed my first meal! The greens are amazing, chicken is fresh and overall quality and volume of food is worth every cent! I will be back for the chicken sandwich and fries bc the sample I got was fire!

I treated my family to Mama Sarah's yesterday. The catfish poor boy, and the chicken wings, greens , mac and cheese, pound cake, banana pudding all was outstanding. I will return on Friday.
