? ? A local gem that dishes out more than just fantastic pancakes, they serve up heartwarming family recipes with a creative twist. ? ?
? Spotlight Dish: Get adventurous with their Sweet Potato Waffle Fry Skillet! It's a unique blend of crispy sweet potato waffle fries, savory sausage, and onions, all smothered with pepper jack cheese and drizzled with a sweet & spicy syrup. This dish is a taste sensation that perfectly balances sweet, savory, and spicy flavors in every bite. It's a must-try for anyone who loves a little adventure in their breakfast!
Make sure to swing by Maple Butter Café for a taste of home with a gourmet twist. Perfect for those mornings when only the best local flavors will do! ☕️?

We had a great experience and a great find! Food was quality and portions perfect.
The great find is Jen our server. She was a true professional with a warm considerate attitude.
When you go you might be fortunate and get her?
Kudos too Jen and Maple Butter.

This is a nice breakfast spot with very friendly staff and a somewhat unique menu. So many area breakfast restaurants have raised their prices significantly but Maple Butter is still reasonable.

Food was pretty good. We enjoyed the breakfast, especially the skillet. I thought prices were a bit on the higher end. Service was decent however they didn’t ask to refill coffee until we were done eating and ready to leave.

Lunch - some assembly required. When I visited Maple Butter, I ordered a California Panini with no avocado, no tomatoes. The food arrived, but it had tomatoes, and the runner seemed upset when I explained that I requested no tomatoes. They returned to the kitchen and brought out the sandwich again. This time, the tomatoes were removed, but now it had avocado on it. When I explained, they returned to the kitchen and brought out the sandwich for the THIRD TIME. It did not have tomatoes or avocado, but now it was missing the pesto mayo - one of the defining features of the sandwich and why I selected it in the first place. I had to wait for the server to come back so I could request a little cup of the pesto mayo, which I then had to put on the sandwich myself. At this rate, I could have just bought the ingredients and made this at home.
The salad that came with the sandwich was also very disappointing - a bowl of lettuce, 2 tomato slices, and 2 slices of cucumber. That's it. No cheese, no croutons, nothing else. Plus, the Thousand Island dressing was extremely unappetizing and tasted like pickle juice. I couldn't even eat it.
The owners were nice and apologized, but they did nothing else to compensate for the very poor experience. Ultimately, I would not be back, nor would I recommend this place to others, especially for the price.

New name.. same food quality.
Changing the name doesn't change the quality of the food or service.

We used to frequent here when it was Plainfield Delight. We moved away and then when we moved back it was Tasty Waffle. Now under new name and management, we aren’t overly impressed with Maple Butter. It cost us over $50 for 2 adult breakfasts and 1 kids meal my kids shared. No fancy drinks - water for 3 of us and one had lemonade. The food was good, portion size is ok, but nothing over the top for us to frequent there anymore.

We were seated and then 30 minutes go by and no one came to take our order and didn’t even get acknowledgment from servers. Very disappointed in this establishment. I wanted to give this place a try since we live in Plainfield. We just ended up leaving without ordering since no one came to our table. Went down the street to Honey Jam.
