Only eat here if you go in person. If you order online they never get your order right.

This is hands down my kids’ favorite spot for dinner celebrations whether it’s celebrating a birthday or a day that ends in Y! The staff is amazing. They have my boys’ favorites memorized and when they bring it out on a Sushi Boat it makes them smile from ear to ear. The cocktails are fresh and delicious, the saki (sp?) is on point, and the overall atmosphere of this restaurant’s charm is nothing short of beautiful

Haven't been to MORA in years (moved to stl) but was up for a birthday and we simply had to go!! The food was delicious, ambiance very cozy, service was great. Can't wait to go back when I'm up that way near Christmas!

Everything is PHENOMENAL!!! Best food and drinks in downtown Plainfield. The Jazmin drink tastes like the honey Gods made it. And if you ever get to try the ube cheesecake, consider yourself blessed.

Enjoyable experience. The food is of good quality and tastes good. Service was outstanding by our waitress and the bar staff that also delivered drinks. The edamame was unusually very good with the way it was cooked to the salt added for taste. The sushi rolls were good but varies at the table mostly due to individual preference.
The drinks were decent but the reason for taking off a star on the food category. The red wine serving seemed kid sized. The sake was way overpriced. The beer was fine.
Other than the drinks, all else was fine. The most noteable things to mention were the service and the decor/atmosphere if the restaurant. Good vibes!
The Mochi for dessert was served in a boat and was very good! 😉

Very dissatisfied. I ordered the How Ally Rolls which is supposed to have shrimp tempura and crunchy chilli garlic but entire roll was soft. I dont think the shrimp was fried in tempura. If it was it must have been done earlier in the day and tempura got mushy. Also our appetizer came out last. And our main came out first. Last thing was there were a couple fruit flies flying around out table which was annoying and doesnt make me want to come back again.

This place was a big disappointment. I ordered the How Alley Rolls which is a shrimp tempura roll with crunchy chili garlic, and the entire roll was soft and mushy no crunch at all. Also, our main dishes came out before our appetizer dishes. I pulled the shrimp out of the roll to inspect it and it was literally just chopped up shrimp and did not seem to have been fried in tempura. If it was it must've been fried earlier in the day and got soft and mushy. Also tried to look for the crunchy chili garlic and could not find any. There were also fruit flies buzzing around our table, which was annoying and caused us to lose our appetite. When I told the waitress about my sushi roll. She said she doesn't eat sushi so she doesn't know anything about it. Aren't the workers at a restaurant supposed to taste the items on the menu so that they can recommend them to customers? The restaurant was nicely decorated, but you can see chips in the paint or damage to the wood from chairs being bumped against the wall overall was just a bad experience and I will not be coming back or recommending this restaurant to anyone.

My first time here. I ordered a chicken basil. Food was extra spicy when I ordered it hot not knowing how hot it was going to be. Rice came with it and the white rice was really dry and the chicken was tough to eat it. Also ordered side dishes and it pretty much matched as other dishes. I paid cash for my bill because now days they charge service charges if you are using a credit card which should be paid by the owner of this restaurant. Everyone should pay attention these days because they all seem to sneak in service charges if you are paying with CC.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Mora Asian Kitchen! Every dish we tried was outstanding—from the crispy lumpia to the flavorful dragon roll, the creative land and sea roll, and the perfectly cooked honey shrimp. The drinks were equally impressive and complemented the meal beautifully. Oh and ending with the mango and chocolate mochi was chef’s kiss.

The vibe at Mora is chill and low key, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy great food. What really stood out, though, was the service. Gaby was exceptional—attentive, welcoming, and genuinely made us feel cared for throughout the meal.

This is one of those places where everything comes together perfectly: amazing food, refreshing drinks, a relaxed atmosphere, and top-notch service. We can’t wait to come back!

We have recently visited several times. The food and service is always incredible! The drinks are amazing. I really love the extensive gluten-free options. Will be back again and again.
