I've been twice and have loved it both times!! They should definitely hold events here!
Service was excellent. Atmosphere was great. Music was at a tasteful level. Loud enough to hear it, but not overwhelming where you had to speak loudly. Food was incredibly delicious and fairly priced!!! Definitely going back!
Fresh, delicious food-service was a little slow but it was because they were short a person. Overall we would go back.
Food and drinks were outstanding. Staff was friendly and attentive. Would recommend Mora to everyone.
Went to Mora for Valentine's Day. The food was good, sushi was okay, and the service was nice. However, I had reserved two seats at the bar, but when we arrived, they gave us a small table in the middle of the hallway. It was very uncomfortable, with people constantly brushing past us. Another issue was the bill - our total was $143.22, but paying with a card added a 4% fee. Card processing fees are a business expense and should not be passed on to customers. Also, the tip percentage is calculated based on the total, including tax and the card fee, which doesn't seem fair. Good food and service, but the seating arrangement and extra charges took away from the experience.
So glad Mora is a dining option in Plainfield. Now is a great time to visit as they are celebrating 10 years here and have a number of delicious menu items priced at $10! The taro cheesecake is a delight! Love this place.
It was a fantastic and smooth experience, our waitress was really helpful in finding the best foods and drinks. We were celebrating a birthday and she made it feel even more welcoming. Atmosphere was great. Food was fantastic. 10 out of 10 would recommend and come here again.
Very cute and atmospheric restaurant. Food was delicious!

Our first time at Mora far exceeded expectations! Our server Luis gave great recommendations. We had the Lumpia to start, then the adobo fried rice (amazing!) and two signature rolls, My Cousin Oscar and Mush Mush. Both were rich and complex. The unfiltered peach flavored sake from California was a refreshing compliment and we topped it off with strawberry and mango mochi! We'll definitely be back.

The Sushi was amazing, probably the best we’ve had in Plainfield, we ordered the special: Hot Ally rolls, Samurai Rolls, and Tiger rolls. The drinks we had were enough with one, we had the Enlightment and the Miyabi. Will definitely be back to enjoy some great sushi and drinks in downtown Plainfield!

Our server was good. None of this is her fault. I have to say that first and foremost. Anyway…We just left there about 10 mins ago and the food was god awful. Not our first time here either… we have given this place so many chances. The first clue should have been the sign on the door that they are not selling liquor right now (not that we even drink anyway..we don’t) - but that was clue number one. Clue number 2 the bathroom had no soap in either bathroom - they filled both soap dispensers with water? Are employees washing their hands with this? Liquid water for soap. Clue number 3 - the dragon roll tasted like burnt bandaids. Clue number 4 - the big bowl at front of the register when you first walk in was completely empty… used to be filled with lime candies. Nope. Gone. Clue number 5 - the california roll was so fishy we could not even eat it… just disgusting. Clue number 6 - the chicken skewers? Idk what that even was so idk what to even say i’m so perplexed. And clue number 7 - not a soul or another table in there eating - on a Friday night - throughout the entire duration of the meal. That says a lot. We did pay the bill in full and didn’t complain bc our server was great and she was nice but we will never ever come here again. Never once have I seen a manager or owner here - and it definitely reflects. Place definitely ran its course and needs to go.
