Went in on a Sunday, it was super quiet , and they didn’t have the slushies or the “juice boxes” it seemed unorganized and the two people working the tasting bar didn’t seem knowledgeable or like they wanted to tell us about the wine. I kind of preferred the old location . This just seems odd for a winery. We may try again.
We really enjoyed stopping at Sable Creek Winery for the barrel tasting with Bill and Steve. They’re really knowledgeable winemakers and it’s great to see them settle into the new space. We thought you should be able to do a tasting from your seat, and the furniture in the tasting room could use a refresh, but we know it’s a work in progress and are glad to have found somewhere like this close to home!
Repurposed bank, now a cute tasting room for Sable Creek Winery. The bank drive-through is now a patio. The bathrooms were clean and accessible (they are downstairs but there is an elevator). They offer snacks (charcuterie and pretzel bread), wraps, flatbread, and a lava cake. Family owned/operated, and the staff was friendly. Mixed on knowledge (some very much so, and others (maybe?) still learning).
Now to the wine… quite good especially for a local winery....
