Better than Raising Canes. Slim Chickens wasn't bad. My son is a picky shit, so I have to go off of what he says. Not bad. The only issue is it costs $11.00 for 4 chickens strips. Not cool!

I really wanted to go here for the dessert and it was so good! But back to the food. We originally were going to go through the drive thru but figured our fries would be cold by the time we made it home. We ordered our meals and waited 15 min or so for our food. The chicken was very hot, fresh. Those fries were lukewarm and soft. Yes, I ate them because I was starving and knew my dessert would be good. But it was such a contrast. My husband noticed a sign that said something in reference to the food being made fresh to order (can't remember exact wording), and he commented that it must only apply to the chicken.

I came here on a Tuesday between 12:30pm-1:20pm. Andrea, the GM, was working and she was wonderful! The facility was clean and the food came out hot, fast and fresh!
This was my first time having Slim Chickens so I wanted to try a variety. I chose the basket with 3 wings and 3 tenders with Texas toast, fries and a water. I got honey bbq on the wings and the home made ranch and slim sauce on the side.
Review of the food:
Presentation was great! Temperature of food was hot and fresh!
Fries- I liked them, not overly seasoned not too big not too small
Texas toast- I liked it, there is a garlic butter sauce on it that reminds me of little ceasers crazy bread sauce
Wings- the honey bbq was okay the wings were a good size but very very dry. Did not like.
Tenders- loved them, they were a nice size and the white meat on the inside was great.
Slim sauce- did not like, too thick and too ketchupy not for me.
Homemade ranch- really good
Cayenne ranch- really good

Staff were polite and helpful. I got the Buffalo ranch mac n cheese bowl. It was okay. Cheese sauce was runny and lacked flavor. The bread that comes with it was, I guess garlic, wasn't that great. The desert in a jar was stellar! I'd come back just for the deserts.

Food itself is okay, brought up on checkout. Gotta ask if I want to go large on my drink for fifty cents, I did. Drives me nuts when I get. 2/3-3/4 of ice, it's a well-known fact. That restaurant make a very nice margin on self drinks. As they should, but getting mostly ice is ridiculous.

I was served by Andrea: the general manager at slim chickens and I just have to say I've NEVER met anybody as disrespectful and unmannered as her. She handed me my food lopsided! Additionally, I overheard her shitting on customers while I was standing at the counter waiting for my order to be taken. I'm deeply disappointed as I had high expectations. I will never return as long as Andrea runs this restaurant.

Pleasant surprise. The lightly breaded tenders were excellent and the honey mustard was awesome. Excellent lemonade and the fries were great. The biggest surprise off all was the sourdough toast with butter. All freshly made to order and very, very good.
