My favorite has gotten even better. Now that Atrevete has a stand with patisserie goodies here, they're the best roaster / cafe in a 15 mile radius IMO. Their only real competition is Sparrow, which is way up in Naperville. Ten drops started what, 8-10 years ago? in a tiny room, just roasting. It was like a science lab set up in a walk in closet sized space. Then out of that spot, they started selling espresso and coffee. Black. Because that's how they feel it should be done. Don't ask for sugar or cream! Over the years they expanded to an actual cafe with tables and seats, and Aaron has expanded the coffee drink menu and even allowed a "coffee ruining station" with sweeteners. They'll even put cream / milk in your coffee! Just this week they've doubled the cafe seating space. It's a highlight in Plainfield.

Coffee was outstanding! Service was meh. The man at the counter at 3:30pm on 9/9/24 was unfriendly, condescending, and will keep me from coming back since my business was too much trouble for him. It's sad bc it's the best cup of coffee I've ever had, but not worth being treated that way. I would also suggest that hands be washed before bare handing ice and touching coffee grounds. I watched him wipe his hands on his pants and touch the ice and coffee grounds. The ice that fell on the counter was tossed back into the ice container. Super gross. Won't be back

This is my go-to place to get coffee beans for coffee at home. I’m able to bring my own containers to save on waste- which I love- plus I get a free coffee when I buy beans. Also, they have a giant skeleton and the place is decorated really cool.

The espresso is fantastic-I get fruity notes. I had to buy a bag of beans and am actually currently enjoying that as I write this review. I also like the vibe of the place. The giant skeleton is cool (but the eyes are kinda creepy). 💀
