The Backstretch Bar & Grill

Stopped for a "backstretch" and lunch on our way to Chicago. Food was great and Debbie was very welcoming 😊

My rating is based completely off the waitress today !! 11/02/2924. @ 2:00 pm Our waitress was extremely rude and unprofessional our bartender was amazing and cheerful acted like she enjoyed her job and the people surrounding her

Bluegill fillets were very good and very big.

Passed on their list of fancy burgers and just had a plain old cheeseburger. Guess what? It was cooked perfectly. Cold beer and the smell of pizza (I am getting pizza next time I am here) makes this a definite stopping place instead of all those fast food joints directly off of the expressway. Will keep it at 4 stars until I try the pizza.

BLT Salad was very small and didn't even have a single tomato on it. So I paid $10 for iceberg lettuce with 2 strips of bacon and some cheese. gross. I won't return nor would I recommend this place.

Server was very friendly and helpful. Prices reasonable, good happy hour drinks and prices. I had naked winds and pizza, they were delicious!
