I've been here a few times and if we are being honest the quality is not the same every time. I've had not so great experiences in the past with the quality of food, but this particular visit I was blown away by how good it was! Whatever Pizza Joe's has done to correct the previous deficiencies is definitely working!We decided to go with a large Dave's All Meat pizza. The special for the month of October is a free Sicilian with the purchase of a large pizza, so we got that too! The pizza was really good, the crust was a little crispier than I would have hoped for on the bottom but it still tasted delicious! The Sicilian was a wonderful addition, it was loaded with garlic butter!When you dine in you get an additional discount off your entire bill as well as complimentary bread and meat sauce to dip it in. The bread was super soft and nice and warm!One thing to note that had me shaking my head was with the beverages. I asked for a water and was brought a bottle, not from tap. That's fine, but I was charged for it! This should have either been annotated on the menu with the other beverage prices or verbally upon me asking for it. It wouldn't have been a big deal if that was the case, but it's the principle!I recommend giving Pizza Joe's a try at least once!

We walked the waitress looked at us . Not sure what her problem was . Was really thinking of leaving. Dylon spotted us grabbed the menu and brought them to us and waited on us . He was so pleasant and was like doing it all. Keep up on the great services we will be back . As long as we don’t see that girl definitely don’t want any that kind of service. Definitely want Dylan to wait on us felt more welcome by him . Thank you Dylan I hope u see this and recognize for your dedication.

For a newcomer in area. Thought I'd try it out. They delivered ahead of time. Well portioned food for lunch. Online ordering was a breeze. I ordered a mixture of items for later. Example, Penne with Alfredo was really filling for the amount.. Highly recommend this place!!! Next dinner......lol

I want to start by saying I could hardly wait to write this review. Pizza Joe's is an absolute sleeper. My wife and I decided to stop in for our date night and were, at first sight, not very impressed. The decor and the layout of the restaurant does look very well put together. We were greeted by Shawna our hostess/server who was very pleasant and helpful in making us feel welcomed. We ordered a couple beers and a garlic cheese bread appitizer to get started and landed on a chicken alfredo pizza for our meal.Here's where we get to the sleeper part of the story. All of the bread and pizza dough is made fresh every day and let me tell you it, if you haven't been to a pizza joint that's making their own bread and dough daily then you are missing out. The bread that was served to us was absolutely amazing. It was hearty and yeasty. The texture and taste of this appetizer bread was easily worth twice the price they charged and the 40 minute drive we made to get there. The pizza was noticeably fresh and equally as delicious as the bread. I cannot for the life of me figure out why there was only one other couple in the dining room with us on a Friday night. But believe I will be doing my part to promote this pizza joint to make sure they can keep the doors open so they can keep making this bread and pizza. If you find yourself in Prophetstown make sure to stop in to Pizza Joe's and try the bread, you will be glad you did.

We pigged out and got 2 of the GPS appetizers, and an extra large pizza. Holy smokes was that a lot of food! And delicious too! Service was phenomenal and the owners are very eager to please their customers. A true GEM in little Prophetstown!
