Chick’s on the River is officially my new “current” obsession. From the moment we walked in, Madeline... our hostess with the most-est... had us gliding to a river-view table like she was part cruise director, part mind-reader. Friendly, fast, and flawlessly composed, she navigated the busy flow with a smile that could brighten a cloudy Mississippi. The vibe? Breezy and relaxed; the food? Hot, fresh, and dangerously crave-worthy ...I’m already plotting my next “just one more bite” visit... Timing was on point, drinks stayed topped off, and Madeline checked in just enough to make us feel VIP without hovering. If hospitality had a hall of fame, she’d get a first-ballot nod. In short: great eats, great views, and a hostess who keeps everything rolling smoothly downstream. Five stars, no question... Chick’s, you’ve got me hooked!

Loved the lip (chicken strip) on a spud ! We also had the lip nachos. Excellent margaritas and cheesecake sampler. Very unique place on the mississippi river next to a park. Loved the refurbished old building. Busy at dinner time we ere early. Great waitress. Wish we had her name for this review (she was pregnant) Will go back next trip to Quincy

We went on a random week night about 740 and our server was extremely nice and took great care of us. My first time eating here. Everyone's food was good. Will definitely go back. The martinis are worth it alone

First and last time here, service was horrible. We never got refills on our drinks, she never came back to our table after our food arrived. Plus I found a hair in my Alfredo and they didn't apologize or do anything to make it right, didn't even take it off the bill. 0 stars.

Chick's on the River is a great place to hang out for lunch or dinner. On sunny, warm days one can sit outside and watch the Mississippi flow by. Basically the eats are of the pub variety with some specialized twists such as Lip Spuds, served with a gigantic piece of "Lip" (chicken breast). I have never been disappointed in my ordering choices. All food items are ala carte. Our bill for 3 people with no alchohol was $55.97 before tip. At times the service is a tiny bit spotty or slow but the food is great with plenty to take home (if one wishes)

There are several restaurants claiming to be on the river. Chick's has great views of the Mississippi River. Our server, Madi, had the greatest smile and personality. I had the Monterey Sandwich. It was delicious. I could only eat half of it. The rest I ate when I got home. It microwaved perfectly. My wife had the Bruschetta, also delicious. Lots of parking. This is a fun restaurant.

What a cool place to visit. Well down here for a volleyball tournament we got to come and enjoy the delicious chicken lips. They are huge and a tasty. All their food was legit, I highly recommended.
