The food is absolutely wonderful! I had a large Italian and it was absolutely perfect. The other sub shops have nothing on this. I got a discount for being a volunteer fireman (not why I chose to join) and I appreciate that gesture so very much. Then I see you can buy pickle buckets and there are multiple stations throughout the shop where you can drop donations to help first responders get much needed equipment without raising taxes on people who don't have extra! I hadn't been in for a sandwich in a long time. The place was clean. There were 3 young ladies working. They were all doing something. They waited on me and they were all very nice. The sandwiches were excellent. I hope it stays this way. It's wonderful to walk into a restaurant and see people doing their jobs and not just standing around when things need to be done. I don't know the names of these 3 ladies but they are doing a good job.
Not only does this shop help firefighters with gear and other needed items but it's the best sub shop in town. You have got to get a sub and a bowl of soup,(loaded bake potato). You won't be sorry. Definitely a great place to eat. Great and friendly staff always.
