I've been going to the bar and grill for years and have had great food. But the last 2 times I've been there the food has been sub par at best. The American potatoes were burnt my eggs i asked for was hard and I got them with running egg whites. The new cook must not care or has no idea what there doing. Be warned

They don't where gloves in the kitchen and there pans are on the floor they don't wash them before they put bacon on them they are nasty people there cooks don't wash there hands after anything they touch I'm sorry but u are not clean when ur dish washer put the dishes in the sanitize with food steal on them that not sanitize the dishes I quit the place because Julie was rude to here employees and steal is and the waitress who was talk lies on people they are doing the most to customers it's Pam and her sister that are the sweetest so if u plan on going there I pray for u oh and the cooks usually over cooks the. Food are don't get it done and give u fish that is no good I pray u don't ggit sick

We were visiting Quincy after many years and we remembered that this restaurant used to serve those wonderful tenderloin sandwiches. They close at 2 pm and we had arrived about 1:30, but they told us to come on in and it was as wonderful as we remembered! Tabatha was our server and she was excellent. We liked it so much that we returned the following morning for breakfast before leaving town. Tabatha remembered us and welcomed us as we enjoyed our fresh, tasty meal. Nothing fancy here, but where locals gather, you know you are in for a treat!

Was recommended by a friend. Really wanted to love it, but just didn't. Waitress was super friendly and helpful. She was great, no problem there. The problem was the wait for food. They weren't that busy and it still took an hour to get a Reuben, bacon cheeseburger with fries, and a pony shoe. That might not have been so bad itself, but the fries were lukewarm and not crispy. The burger was just ok, and came with onions even though I asked for them to be left off. The atmosphere was cute, like a diner and bar combined. Overall may give another try later on, but definitely not something I'm excited about.

Love it. Will be returning. Fiance is in love with their hand breaded onion rings, along with everything else. Tenderloin sandwich is huge. After eating your side and the excess tenderloin, you're ready for a to-go box. Homemade mac&cheese simple and delicious.
