we went there for our first time right after our wedding ceremony with our wedding party. they served us all quick and were so so kind to us all. we got to know the owner and he even gave us rounds of shots on the house. the atmosphere was perfect. half of our wedding party ordered, got their food, and ate it all within like 30 minutes! we will definitely be back not only for drinks but their food!! so many delicious items on the menu!

Onion rings, waffle fries, & service were great. Tenderloin was a tad over cooked for as flat as it was, but it was nice sized and not a pork fritter.

Run-A-Way Bill

Quincy, Illinois -

on my drive to a Quincy bar named “Just One More Bar” I was driving through a neighborhood and spotted a “neighborhood bar” which put “Flo” into her automatic u-turn mode …

another u-turn super-riffic success …

the “State Street Bar” “neighborhood bar featured the non-stop “smilin’) positive energy bartender “Jennifer”, who poured the prettiest mugs of $1 PBR frosty draft beers, non-skid beer coasters, a $3 dozen of farm fresh eggs deal and the best value yummy-riffic fried chicken lunch deal I’ve even discovered - such a deal (easily a 2 meals for under $12 value) …

the bar was “packed” with a local lunch crowd - proof of another super-riffic pARTy Gods discovery …

“Jennifer” and the “State Street Bar” earned their “Run-A-Way Bill” FAVORITE award …

“Run-A-Way Bill” was here!
… and will return

It si simply a bar and grill. Nothing fancy, but got a sest right away. More space and tables than expected from the outside. A mix of families and singles, old and young. We went for fish. It was good but seemed to take a bit longer than expected. Our server was nice, and catered to our kid which is appreciated. Would go back to eat snd drink again.

We are such foodies, surprised that it exceeded expectations with the flavor here in Quincy! Very authentic tasting. hope they keep up the standard of the food even after the grand opening. Better than Indian food we’ve hand in Chicago, NYC and St.louis.
Wait was a little long but it was understandable since they just opened.
The sweet Indian doughnut holes are to die for!!!

We had a great experience here! Tonight was our first night ordering from State Street and we wasn’t disappointed! The only thing I can really complain about is that they forgot the cheese sauce on a $60 order. Otherwise the food was great and ready in a timely manner! Will definitely be back soon!
