Everything was good from the food to the waiter and the staff were very friendly and very polite
I had such an amazing time at Bea's kitchen for my birthday brunch. There were so many options at the buffet and everything was replenished continuously. The strawberry peach mimosa tower was off the chain, and the DJ was super dope. He gave continuous birthday shout outs, and I even received a complimentary birthday dessert with signs saying happy birthday and birthday baddie. It felt like bottle service without spending $500 dollars. The staff was soo friendly, and I danced the day away. I cannot wait to go back!!!!
Very nice restaurant the food was delicious and didn't have to wait long to eat. Customer service was excellent nice size drinks DJ was on point. I will definitely be coming back again for some good food, music and nice drinks and staff.
Had a great meal. Lamb chops were really good, as was the cabbage. Mac and cheese and greens were ok.
Atmosphere was great! Food delicious! We had children with us as we didn't know it was R&B bingo night and the staff made sure to keep music & conversations appropriate, which was AWESOME! 5 stars !!!
There for my birthday celebration and felt very rushed. (Party of 8) Food was delicious and nice portion. Place need to expand some for seating. I will revisit again though.

We enjoyed the music. I had a group as we were celebrating my birthday. Everyone enjoyed their food except for the potatoes. Both tables potatoes were hard and warm not hot. We requested replacements but they were never remade. We were told we couldn't swap them for grits which didn't make sense since. After waiting a while for our replacement potatoes and asking several times someone else came and gave us a credit and replaced two of the orders for grits. By then we were packing up to leave. We really enjoy visiting please improve on quality and ensuring your customers are happy. Thanks
Always a blast. Food is great! I won for the 1st time for my birthday. Black own business.
HORRIBLE!!!! Our group drove 50 minutes from our hotel to eat here. No one in our party was from Illinois and Bea's was recommended. Let's start with our drinks...good presentation. Now on to the problem....most of our party wanted the lamb chops. After ordering and waiting for food we were told they were all out. Usually a waitress will start with that type of information. Our waitress was straight cut and dry. After saying hello, she began telling us the rules...no separate checks, one check and only two different payment methods, we only have 75 minutes at table (not sure if that's pre or post receiving food) and 20% gratuity. Nothing about the lack of food on the menu. But ok, no worries. Our group decided to pay our drink bill (over $100) which included the 20% gratuity and find another place to eat that serves lamb chops (that's what most of us came for). Now in most establishments a manager would want to know why patrons decided to leave after 40 minutes and not order any food. Not here management didn't care and let a easy $400 bill walk out the door. While waiting for our ride one of the cooks, not a manager, offered us other food options and tried to accommodate us. Even after his efforts and speaking to management no manager offered us any apology for not having a full menu (they were out of multiple main dishes) or tried to accommodate additional options. Come to find out the manager on duty was our waitress. She Definitely has not had any restaurant management training. We were willing to try other options on the menu but the overall attitude of the waitress/manager changed our minds quickly. Definitely will not return when I come back in town.

Several concerns with this Black owned restaurant. Upon arrival, the atmosphere was appealing but I overheard conversation between a waitress and the “now known Chief” about her attitude. While sipping my Lemon Drop at the bar, Jay/Jae who we have learned was the shift manager, was rude and dismissive. After ordering our food, we were informed that the restaurant did not have the ordered dishes (lamb chops, oxtail, crabs, and others). We chose to dine elsewhere and waited outside. While outside, the same Jay/Jar informed us that we could not sit on the chairs that were posted outside. We were asked to sit in the back. While waiting for our uber, the kitchen cook attempted to accommodate our party of six nurses without knowledge of our profession. Mike went indoors to speak with the leadership of the restaurant to no avail. We were then asked if we wanted to sit inside and eat what they had, we informed them that we did not and awaited our uber. We were then dismissed and discarded.
Within 10 mins, our Uber driver arrived and showed us the most kindness. Very grateful for his kindness during a horrible experience.
I would not recommend this restaurant to any want wanting or seeking a chill experience and vibe. This will only cause strife and frustration. Please get your meals from a professional and reputable establishment.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. When we arrived (6 of us), we were seated promptly. Jae (J, or Jay) was our waitress. She took our drink orders. Once the drink orders came, one person in our party did not want their drink. Jae told us that the drink could not be returned to the bar or exchanged because it had already been poured. My friend reluctantly kept her drinks. We then placed food orders. Most of us ordered lamb chops. After almost 15 mins of waiting, we were informed that they did not have lamb chops, as well as no oxtail, or crab meat. At this point we decided to get the tab and leave to find a different place to eat. We were waiting for our Uber outside in chairs that were just outside the front door, Jae then came outside and told us that we could not sit there as those were another company and told us we can sit on the patio and wait. While on the patio, the cook, Mike, came out to speak with us. Mike did truly try to accommodate us with other food that is available and that the chef was making a store run for food that they were out of. He went inside of the resturant for a bit. A person in our party went back inside to followup on Mike's proposal. She spoke with Jay again, who was was introduced as the manager. Jay had a bit of an attitude and said she wasn't sure of any conversation about my party coming back into eat. At this point, we definitely wouldn't want to eat here. Save your money and patronize a business who treats you well as a paying customer.

I went for the brunch, and it was well worth it. The food was great. The prices are affordable, and the service was excellent.

My sisters and I were greeted by the host who was immediately rude. This young lady had SO much attitude and not just with us. She exhibited extreme frustration even while doing her basic duties of rearranging the tables and chairs. Eye rolling to us and all. The restaurant was EMPTY but we were asked if we had a reservation and needed permission to be able to sit and eat. Ok, so now we go to the buffet where we were given the most minimum of food, to which was very underwhelming. The scrambled eggs were tasteless, the chicken sausage was salty, the waffle was smaller than my hand is borderline have a toddler hand, and the grits were served in a CUP. THEN, we get the check and it’s $148 to include gratuity for only 3 of us. $50 per person is ridiculous for a buffet with minimal options, water, and very small servings. Also the DJ was very inexperienced. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT, NOR WILL WE EVER RETURN!!!

The food was absolutely amazing. I had the lobster and shrimp with grits and it was delicious. All of us enjoyed our food immensely, and liked our drinks, as well! Lovely family owned restaurant with great food. Good for a large group.
