This is by far the worst Tropical location. Every time I visit, the staff is rude and slow. I won’t be returning; I’d rather drive to Tinley Park for better customer service given how much I spend here. This time, I ordered a smoothie combo chicken bacon ranch with chipotle mayo—nothing complicated. The manager, ISES (however it’s spelled), spoke too fast and unclear, and seemed dismissive when she spelled things out for me.
At the window, she repeated my order quickly again and said she had rung me up for the chipotle mayo sandwich instead. I explained that wasn’t what I ordered, as I didn’t want pepper jack cheese and wanted bacon. She immediately slammed the window, cutting me off. She didn’t return, and another employee came to tell me my total without addressing my order. When I asked her to repeat it, she slammed the window and started laughing with the manager.
I asked what was so funny—I just wanted to confirm my order. One girl replied, "I don't know; I just make smoothies." What a joke. After 15 minutes, another worker opened the window, handed me my food, and slammed the window again. Throughout this time, no one apologized or asked if I had everything—just rude, young staff. I then waited an additional three minutes for my smoothie, only to be told to pull forward for it. They had forgotten to make it!
I went inside to get my smoothie because I didn’t trust the manager. When I walked in, she was sitting in the corner on her phone, looking unkempt and unsanitary. I asked if she was the manager, and she replied, “Yup, but I’m on break.” When I asked for her name, she responded loudly and quickly, “Yup, it’s ISESSES.” Just rude, with no respect or professionalism. They need to clean house, get rid of that manager, and provide proper customer service training.

Terrible customer service experience. I went to dine in but had to really go to the bathroom. Cashier held me hostage to make a purchase before buzzing the restroom door open when it was clearly expressed that i had to go immediately. I understand I'm not entitled to thier restroom but after being met with an unsympathetic response and leveraged to make a purchase, I reconsidered dining in a business that valued my transaction over my humanity. And to top it off, i was recommended to go to thier next door competiors. That's a red flag for management. My dine in meal turned into a bag of chips to go. Anyone with a blender can make a smoothie, customers value businesses for thier service experience. Unfortunately, this was not important in this place of business

I loved the peanut butter and banana smoothie (not its official name). It tasted good and the size was perfect. My only issue was the $9 price tag. I would go again, but maybe as a once a month treat.

This is definitely the worst customer service. They are slow and rude. I'll drive 50 miles to another location before I patronize this business again. They can shut down for all I care.

Dont order here unless it’s online, I spent 30 minutes in the drive thru with only two other cars ahead of me just to finally get to the window and not one employee in sight. They finally come after 10 minutes and give me my wrong order!!!! Was forced to wait even more!!!! Just terrible!!
Figured I'd give this location a shot even though the reviews were indicative of lesser expectations..can't even be mad the staff is young, inexperienced, and slightly incompetent. I should've took heed to all the negative reviews...

Always slow & always rude. An unfortunate addition to a great franchise. If you use 57 to get to Tinley you’ll still get your order faster than waiting in the drive thru in Richton Park. Avoid at all costs
