Blue Moon ice cream has long been my favorite flavor, but isn't the easiest to find in ice cream shops. Not only was I excited to learn Rusty Malts has Blue Moon, but I was ecstatic to find they also have another variation called Playdough. It is Blue Moon with chunks of colored cookie dough. I mean, come on! This is what ice cream heaven looks like for me. Haha
The ice cream was great, the teenage girl at the counter was not. She barely said a word to me, nor offered a smile to anyone in my party or the group that she served after us. It was very off-putting for our first experience at Rusty Malt.
The building is very clean and cool on a hot day. While the indoor decor is nice, it's pretty "blah." There is no music playing.... it lacks character in general. It should be noted that indoor seating is on...
