Anytime I come to IL to visit family in Wonder Lake, this is my go-to restaurant! The food never disappoints and I have never had a bad meal/experience here. Great specials throughout the week. I am personally looking forward to the pizza and wings, but everything is good here! See you all there this next month!

So this is where we went post high school graduation, and their food did not disappoint. Phyllis!!!!! Phyllis was put server And she was working hard let me tell you. She was zipping around that place like she was on skates. She was very very attentive, she came to our table to greet us at right away, got our drink orders and was quick to return with them. She was really kind and did not look like she hated her job. Lol. She was quick with boxes at the end of our meals and gave us a great experience. It was between The Village Squire and The Rusty Nail, kids picked Rusty Nail Their pizza.... First of all I really believed my Favorite pizza was Rosatis. Now after having Rusty Nail Pizza, I have found a new favorite. It even reheated delicious. My kids reheated in the air fryer and it was like it was fresh out of the oven but I like mine microwaved. It twas amazing I tell you, amazing. So great experience, great service, clean place... I'd go again.

Nice experience: the dining room is more than a pub, but less than a regular restaurant environment. Don't let that dissuade you. Each of us had delicious meals: soup and sandwiches, or entrees. Easy parking and helpful staff. There are nightly specials; I had great ribs and chicken. Give it a try.
