Decided to finally give First Watch a try yesterday. The food was fantastic and our server was great but the hostess was appalling. She was intensely crass. We watched her berate an elderly woman for asking how much longer the wait would be. She watched us sit down after taking our number. We never once received a text table was ready. She finally calls us up there after staring at us 10 minutes. We get up there and the hostess literally went āMan what are you doing Iāve been texting you!ā My partner shows me his phone and he never received anything past the initial āyouāve been added for the waitlistā text. I stated this to her and she glared at me. She also kept screaming to clear the area but considering thereās no where for anyone to stand or sit while they wait, she was being completely unreasonable and rude. I heard other guests complain about her as well and everyone was taken aback by how crass and rude she was to everyone. I honestly wonāt be coming back knowing sheās the hostess which was a shame because the food and our server were fantastic.
The lemon ricotta pancakes were amazing and the tangerine dream drink is a must try.

I am a big First Watch fan, and I have been for nearly 20 years. I have been to many locations, and even waited tables at a couple.
So, I was excited when a First Watch opened close to my house. Unfortunately, this one is really not living up to the FW reputation. I have been a couple of times now. Both times, I ordered the same thing, a power bowl. Both times I asked the server to sub the sausage for avocado. Both times, I was charged $2 extra for this without being made aware.
Today, I ordered a market hash to go, with no mozzarella and no mushrooms. When I got home, I found it had both.
First Watch has always been good about adjusting their meals and substitutions, so this really surprised me. Not sure if this means the chain has spread itself too thin and is slacking, or if this branch is just subpar. Unfortunately, even though this location is closest to me, I won't visit it again.

Slow to clean tables with dirty dishes while people were waiting to be seated. They seated 2 large men at a tiny table near the dirty dish pit area and 2 young girls at a large table for 4 right next to them

Finally had a chance to drop in to this location thatās closer to me, and what a disappointment. Wanted a quick breakfast, so I ordered the chia pudding and toast to go. 25 minutes later, bag with cold toast and solid butter. So then I wait another 7+ minutes for warmer toast. Unacceptable. Yes I did tip. Never coming back.
