Yolk - Oak Park/River Forest

The prices are outrageous. Firstly, prices for an omelette rose by $5, 17 to 22. The menu says 5 egg omelette so I'm entitled to 5 whole eggs. What I got was maybe a 3 egg omelette cut with water. Don't get me wrong here, it was delicious, but I know eggs and this is false advertising.

If you want a real breakfast go to Omega on golf road.

Great food, good service, and their cappuccino have greatly improved since the last time I had it. You should try the chicken and waffle. Parking, however, is a challenge.

I went with a close friend. I hadn't been there since COVID. I found it still quiet and intimate, with an excellent atmosphere, great food, and staff that seemed grateful that we chose them.

The food was good the grits looser than I normally have. I think they are overpriced an omelette eggs only $20 cheese meat etc is an add on!

The son of the previous owner. I've also been to the Yolk in Indianapolis. Excellent food there also. The chilequilles are fantastic.

I ordered a salmon breakfast dish, where the salmon was nowhere to be found. I was told that it was chopped. The food overall was not good. The people were nice, and the service was excellent.

The coffee is WEAK! It’s awful! They used to have decent coffee but now it taste like “dirty dishwasher!” The food and the service was great! Coffee sucks!

Right after church or timing was just off, c trying to get the family together. We found yolk just as it was closing and they welcomed us. Didn't have to. Waitress was friendly. The menu was interesting and we had a great breakfast. Clean, unassuming, and want to work hardb to win over hearts.
