Classic tiki bar that feels like transporting back in time. An overwhelming amount of drink options and everyone at our table loved their choices! Would definitely go back!

HORRIBLE!!! I will definitely not be going back!!! We waited a long time to be seated, but that was the least of the issues. Honestly, the drinks were tasty, but the service was so bad. We waited forever to get our drinks, and we never got around to ordering a second round. Not because we didn't want to, but our waiter never came back to check on us. He was taking care of every other table that was near us he just never thought to come back to us. We ordered chips and we were served crumbs. We literally almost asked for a spoon but again, the waiter never came back. So $80 down the drain on 3 drinks and bottom of the bag chip dust. Oh, and we asked for water and we're told we had to get it ourselves.

We sat at the bar around 5 pm. Our first bartender was fantastic, Very knowledgeable, and made great drinks. Then the second bartender came in and our last drinks and they were not very good at all. She did not balance the margaritas, it was way too acidic to be sippable or enjoyable. That being said. We will definitely be back

Haven't been disappointed yet with any of their drinks, but woooow their pumpkin pie martini is beyond this world it's so good. Once I had i, I stopped trying different drinks and had 3 of the martinis.

Would give it a full five stars if they had a wider selection of food or allowed you to bring your own in. The drinks are the real tiki deal and the atmosphere is great.Kid-friendliness: Over 21 onlyWheelchair accessibility: I think it's accessible to get in but you would find it challenging inside. Close tables and tight turns would make it difficult past the front bar area

Old school Tiki in the Chicagoland area. Great place to hang out and get a legit tiki drink and take in the ambiance. If you are a fan of tilki this is a must stop. Just make sure you have a DD!

Drinks were great, around $15 on average. Decor and vibe was authentic and laid back. Teresa the bartender was super knowledgeable about the extensive rum selection. A gem in the area.

Drinks are almost tripled of what they used to be back in the day. My drink was super watered down when it was the Christmas themed drinks. It's unfortunate this place you could've gotten 3 drinks for almost under 20 bucks back in the day. My gf and I went recently. 3 drinks now cost a whopping 45 bucks. That's insane mark up.

I've been going to Hala Kahiki since 2019 and ever since I've been coming back when I get the chance. I've been taking my husband since I introduced it to him and now he's been wanting his friends to come see it for themselves and I love coming here with good company and to just destress and put all your worries out the window. It's like a tropical get away I swear. The inside feels so Polynesian and the vibe checks with the waiters when they serve you they are accommodating and very friendly and fun. This is probably one of the few bars I'll always go to no matter how old I get with or without a group you'll always enjoy the atmosphere. My most favorite part is the indoor outdoor patio where you can sit on the couches and it feels more intimate with a group. I also like the bar area and the little shop they have any the front area of the bar. They don't have much for food options but plenty of yummy Polynesian drinks to pick from! Whether you have a feel for a soury/tart drink to a sweet delicacy there's a good variety to choose from.

had reserved a spot for a birthday and experience was great. the parking situation was okay where there was a lot in the back and some parking on the side. walking in seemed a little outdated but then the inside was nice and themed. was bigger than the pictures on yelp provided. our sever was very patient with our orders and decision making. we got a couple of drinks of which i had ordered the Pina Passion, it was. 6/10 because it was so strong that i wasn't able to fully enjoy it. Also got the Hala Berry, the flavors went really well together and a 7/10, also on the strong side was tolerable. inside the place it's dark and brings you into the vibe with the music and decor that they have they don't have much food other than chips and salsa and edemame and sushi. we got "exotic" vegetable chips for the table and mango salsa. which the chips were just sweet potato chips but the salsa was really good. also ordered the flamingo and rainbow roll which i was disappointed in. jewel osco and marianos have better quality than that. it was not good at all. also would appreciate prices of drinks on the menu, check came and they ranged between $11.95-$15.95 atleast for our party.
