THAT SMELL When it comes to the signature stank of Subway--equal parts sweet, sour, and yeasty--you either love it or hate it. I would imagine this Subway sees a fair amount of business at the intersection of Grand Ave & River Rd. I've stopped in a few times for lunch and while once I was the only customer present, the other times a small line had formed (behind me, thankfully). The bags of chips are neatly organized, the employees are friendly enough, the store is clean. My usual lunch order is the 6" sub of the day ($4 + tax). The Italian BMT is my favorite, but you can't go wrong with the sweet onion chicken teriyaki. I always ask for it toasted with provolone/lettuce/cucumber/black olives/jalapenos/mayo/oil & vinegar. You can add chips & a drink for an extra $2.50 or so. Growing up, I had friends who worked at Subway and they'd regale me with stories of late-night drunken customers, psycho coworkers, and how the stench of bread gradually seeped its way into their soul. I went to one such guy's wedding a few years back and he STILL smelled like Italian herbs & cheese. * TL;DR * Oooohhhh that smell Can't you smell that smell? Oooohhhh that smell The smell of bread surrounds you This is Subway #8 of 12 within two miles of work and at this point I feel like I'm plagiarizing myself. Sandwiches. Condiments. Inescapably funky odor. Nothing groundbreaking here, carry on.

Workers are rude and you can never understand them with masks. Food sucks and just taste gross. Workers are always rude to you when asking for the bathroom key also.
