Horrible management, long service, empanadas are all re heated after being frozen and are still ridiculously expensive. They will leave them out on the front rack till they are old and dry. Good gelato i guess.

Stopped here on a whim on the way to the zoo. What a great find! Delicious empanadas. Got 6 different kinds and they were all really good! The habanero salsa was HOT in the best possible way. The woman behind the counter was great to deal with. Will definitely be back!

I'm vegan and tend to have a hard time finding vegan friendly options in the area. Not only did they have a few vegan empanadas to select from (spoiler alert, I tried them all), they were phenomenal!! Perfectly crispy on the outside and warm and favorable on the inside. I also tried their spicy chimichurri sauce. So yum! Will 100% be coming back and bringing my non-vegan husband. 10/10 would recommend.

Don't waste your time or money. Food was soggy, ordered beef and chicken somehow got both chicken. Asked for a shake and was denied because of he said there was no milk, asked for a substitute with almond milk because I saw it on the shelf and was told they don't have it as well.

This is a small food joint. Convenient for walks to grab a small bite and go, just what we like. We tried 6 different empanadas on two different occasions: mushroom, cheese, buffalo chicken, beef, spinach, and a vegan al pastor. Out of the 5, the best was the mushroom and cheese. My husband tried the meat and preferred the beef. I tried with the chimichurri sauce and without, and I don't think it needs the chimichurri. Personally, it overpowers the flavor of the empanada. The vegan al pastor and spinach were ok. What really stood out was the lentil soup. My husband liked the chicken soup, but we loved the lentil soup. It was filled with flavor, and it tasted like something my mom or grandma would make. I would go back for the lentil soup. It had celery, red bell peppers or peppadew peppers, carrots, onion, cilantro, and potatoes. Simply phenomenal.

I had asked for vegan and the lady was not helpful with choices I could go with. The second time we came here was at 10:30 am, door wasn't even open and the phone wasn't being picked up for service. Their website and door sign said they open at 10am. We saw 3 other customers being confused as why the place looked open but the door was locked. We had just decided to leave.
Their food is great but I can't say the same about their services we've experienced.

Locally owned and operated by Riverside family! Always fresh and delicious with large variety of meat and vegan options. Also offer catering to offices, parties, etc and frozen take n bake. High praise for this thriving establishment. They mainly do take out with small indoor seating area. Quick stop and go for lunch or snack. My go to is Bacon (with eggs) personal fav for breakfast/brunch, and Spinach for healthy option.

I can’t review atmosphere. I was there alone in late Sunday afternoon . I was on the way to Italian place. I’m so happy I stopped in Empanadus. . Empanadas with mushrooms and spinach were very tasty. The lentil soup was absolutely delicious. I’m a good cook but their soup was much more superior than mine. It’s a very small place but a little treasure. I took some empanadas to go. I’ll be back in a 100%.
