Ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches that were very yummy. Blueberry scone, butter croissant, americano and a smoothie. Appreciate that you're able to sit down and have a conversation with the person youre with or be able to study.
The cold brew with syrup was not my favorite, but the hot coffee was very, very good. I recommend just a basic hot coffee, cream, and sugar to your liking. Would return for the hot coffee kind of a strange location around a forest preserve but close to me so not bad.
Love this place! After the HP Shooting, my family had no where to go and we drove until we found somewhere that was open. This was the place! The owner happened to be there and let us hide out until we had access to go back home. Beyond their care for community, I would argue that it is the best prepared coffee in Illinois - North Shore for SURE! I am from Washington state, just south of Seattle. I spent a lot of time working in coffee - Cafe De Oro is the closest thing to Seattle...
