Backwoods Diner took over after the owners of Happy Days Diner retired and continued to cook excellent meals. They have daily specials and still serve breakfast and lunch. In addition to their great food, the owner does custom baking, which is also awesome. If you are looking for a birthday cake or 3 dozen cookies, she's your lady. If you're looking for a cozy little diner off the beaten path, check out Backwoods Diner. You won't be disappointed.
Stopped in on a road trip to Memphis. Happy Days is about 10 minutes from I-57 but well worth the drive. Usually when I get BnG I run out of gravy before the biscuits but not at Happy Days! Glad I got a side of bacon to scoop up some of the extra gravy
