The staff is wonderful! I’m a vegetarian. So, I order their salads, wraps, and sides (likely prepared alongside their meaty offerings). The wraps, lettuce, pickle, onion, green pepper, and tomato are always fresh tasting. They’re happy to work with me while I place my intricate (annoying) order. Wait time is always appropriate or surprisingly quick! There’s an exciting array of side options, which are almost all prepared in their delicious signature seasoning. Great option to a meal before or after catching a movie at Eagle Theater! ?

We were in last night (1/15/24) for my husband’s birthday dinner. It was our first time there and our party of 7 with 2 toddlers had the best time! We didn’t feel rushed like at a lot of places. Our babes are well behaved for toddlers, but well, they ARE toddlers and no one batted an eye at the couple of loud squeals and giggles. The food was generously portioned, delicious and fresh! Our server was very friendly and easygoing! I don’t know why we didn’t try it sooner! We will definitely return!

Though I had a cheeseburger (which was very good) the people in my party had brisket. It was flavorful and very tender. The team was exceptional; knowledgeable, attentive, and very personable. Great place.

Back Porch SmokehouseThe Back Porch Smokehouse is a small, unassuming BBQ establishment attached to the movie theater in Robinson. In addition to BBQ, they have an ample selection of steaks, chicken, and burgers. I decided to give the brisket plate a try. While the brisket was tasty, it was quite a bit different from the traditional Texas-style brisket I’m accustomed to eating. The brisket was “chunky” versus “sliced”. The sides of potatoes and cole slaw were adequate, but nothing special. I’d probably make a different selection from the menu next time.

Great food and service. We were there the night the tornadoe hit Robinson eating and when the power went out and the warning went out to take cover immediately the staff was quick to get us to a safe place and helped try keeping us calm and our minds off what was going on my talking to us and making us laugh. When we were in the clear to leave they did not charge us for our meal and wrote down what all we had ordered and replaced it all when we were able to go back at no charge.
