The best homemade pasta with a to-die-for lemon cream sauce and homemade crispy chicken! So good! I will go back for that dish over and over. Everything was prepared to perfection.

Beautiful atmosphere. We went here for lunch yesterday & the food & wine were amazing. Staff was so friendly & as a party or 7 it didn't take long to get the food. You definitely get what you pay for and everything was made fresh. Will come back soon for more 🙂

This was the second time eating here, and once again the food was absolutely delicious! We had the Italian sausage wedding soup, the acres burger and the bone-in bacon jam pork chop. The acres burger is my new favorite burger! We can’t wait to try everything else on the menu.
The food and service is awesome.The owner is very personable.Showed us the lower level her brother made the bar top and table tops from old barn wood and metal from a. corncrib that wraps around the bar.6 generation farmers. Worth a weekend drive such a delightful restaurant.

Staff and chef are friendly and welcoming- food and service is outstanding and oh so delicious every single time- love they are fresh farm to table and change up their menu- atmosphere upstairs and downstairs is cool and inviting and comfortable- store front has cute clothes and fun items for sale as well as gorgeous artwork- owner is always present and holds paint classes which are so much fun!!! - I mean there’s no reason why you shouldn’t go and make this your favorite place in Rochelle. Oh and the cocktails are amazing and fresh too- We take our friends and family from out of town here all the time and they agree with everything I’ve said here… I can’t rave enough about Acres Bistro 🤤🤤🤤🤤

Stopped in for lunch today on the recommendation of a friend and we will definitely be back! The food was spectacular, atmosphere very welcoming and fun, incredibly clean and the the service from the staff was exceptional. They all took time to chat with us for a minute and seemed very invested and proud of their product and business and they should be!
A small town hidden gem! We made a reservation for Acres Bistro on a Saturday night, but it probably wasn't necessary. Our table was ready when we arrived. Our waiter offered us beverage menus and we ordered craft cocktails. The menu features small plates, soups & salads, large plates served with soup or salad and "handhelds", sandwiches/wraps served with fries. We started with a shareable, Italian Whipped Goat Cheese with bruschetta, balsamic glaze and toast points. It was very good! Hubby had the creamy cajun pasta with grilled chicken and I had the citrus baked halibut. Both prepared very well and were delicious. Our friends had sandwiches which were large enough to take half home. Great food, great service, great ambiance! And check out the bar downstairs!

My husband and I discovered Acres Bistro in early 2023 and it has become our favorite restaurant, well worth the 30 minute drive one-way. We’ve even twice had lunch and dinner on back to back days - the food, service and environment are simply that good. If you’re traveling on I-88 or I-39 near Rochelle, Acres Bistro is well worth the short drive from the interstate. You won’t find a fresher more delicious meal for miles around.
I’m always on the lookout for salmon and theirs is excellent. My favorites are the Spring Salad with salmon (the waiter suggested the lemon vinaigrette dressing and it was perfect!) as well as the Honey Spiced Salmon entree (another recommendation from the knowledgeable staff). My husband is a fried chicken fanatic and loves their Wednesday night special that includes the comfort food classics of mashed potatoes, gravy and corn. The chef also does a terrific Friday Fish Fry, offering cod and shrimp, either fried or baked, which is a nice option.
We also love their hamburgers (in addition to those on the menu, the chef does an innovative burger of the week) and crispy chicken sandwiches, all served with hot delicious hand-cut fries. Service is friendly and attentive as our glasses of water, ice tea and Coke are always promptly refilled, even when sitting outside at our favorite table on the comfortable deck. They also serve beer, wine and cocktails. Our favorite is their Back Pocket Brewing, Bubba hazy IPA with a nicely chilled glass. Give Acres Bistro a try and you too will have a new favorite restaurant!

The Chefs, Nate and Christopher cooked an amazing meal and the menus is superb. Many option but not overwhelming. Jessica was our server and did an amazing job with everything. 10% off in the shop after you eat. Overall was a awesome place to be and will have to return
