Exceptional bourbon, and such an awesome tasting room, event space, and distillery…and did I mention the exceptional bourbon? Wheated mash bill, very nice. If you enjoy W, you will really like this.
I’m typically not a rye fan but enjoyed their rye as well…also wheated, you get that spiciness up front with a bit of a sweeter finish.
Rick and Molly were great hosts, looking forward to meeting the rest of the team. Definitely going to be visiting again!

Kennay Farms Distilling is a family-owned and operated distillery located in Rochelle, offering a great selection of whiskey, vodka, and gin. The tasting room, event space, and distillery are exceptional, with an atmosphere that visitors find fantastic and nice. The owner is personable and very knowledgeable, clearly passionate about the craft. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and very accommodating. Visitors can enjoy their vodka and gin, both of which are very smooth, with the botanicals in the gin making it delicious. The whiskey, including their upcoming bourbon, is highly praised, with the first bourbon expected to be released in November. The distillery also offers amazing drinks and a limited but nice selection of crafted cocktails. Many guests appreciate the friendly service and the quality of the spirits, especially the wheated mash bill bourbon and rye. While their hours are limited, they host private events and special events, so checking their website is recommended. Located across the street is a nice Bistro, perfect for a meal after visiting, and food can be ordered from the Easy Eats menu from Acres Bistro. Overall, Kennay Farms Distilling is a hidden gem in northern Illinois that visitors highly recommend.
