The Blackstone Bar and Grill

Met a friend for lunch today. First time either of us have been there. Food was average at best. Chicken tenders were dry but fries were good. Salad was nothing special. The restaurant was empty at 12 which should have been an indication of food to us.

1st time there everything was outstanding clean place

I had the ribeye sandwich (medium-rare) with added mushrooms and onions. It was seasoned phenomenally. The taste of salt and pepper was present yet not overly powerful. It fused well with the juices of the ribeye. The Ribeye it's self was tender, moist, and cooked to the medium-rare I had asked for. The portion of meat on the bun was surprisingly larger than I had expected. There was so much that I was not able to close the sandwich without eating some of the Ribeye cuts first!
I was very impressed with the food and my bartender/ server Liza was lovely. She was attentive to me and the 4 other tables she had. Even though I did not have a drink I saw how she made them. Her pours from the tap were excellent. They had just the right amount of head on everyone of them she poured. Her bloody mary looked delicious and she used a generous portion of the vodka.
The only thing I have an issue with is that it was too cold for me. Had I been wearing jeans and a light long sleeve shirt I would have probably been okay.

We got the Philly steak sandwich which was outstanding. The french fries were the best we've ever had anywhere. And the sandwich was equally outstanding. I would downgrade my score slightly because the sandwich was a little bit greasy but not enough to take it down to a four.

Stopped in based on other reviews and can say we were not disappointed! Wanted something other than quick fast food while traveling through and they definitely delivered. The entire meal was fresh and made to order. We had the breaded mushrooms as the appetizer, the Italian beef sandwich w/fries, and the Blackstone Burger w/onion rings. Absolutely phenomenal!

Very disappointed I paid 3 dollars to upgrade to onion rings and they are soggy not crunchy as you see the batter is coming off. Besides that my food was ok I ordered a grilled cheese burger or something like that Texas toast was kinda crispy kinda not, the burger was cooked perfectly but had very little seasoning. The bbq potatoe skins were very good I have to say even though they forgot my sour cream(not a deal breaker) I ordered for pick up told me 15 min I get there waited another 10 I had somewhere to be. Overall the atmosphere is laid back but the food seems inconsistent will definitely be getting drinks here just not the food.

A bar with good food I tried the blue cheese with bacon hamburger taste wonderful. Prices are fair take cash if your larger crowd.

Disappointing. Poor customer service. Food had no condiments when ordered to go. Sauces and peppers that were ordered were not included. Waitress was too busy on the phone to provide good service due to a table of 10. We were placing a large order for an office and deserve customer service too. We had trouble locating a current menu and many items they no longer serve. The waitress said ~ you can find our menu on Google, you know the search engine, in a condescending tone. A current menu in our order would have been helpful if we actually planned on returning.

Stopped here for lunch on a road trip. The service was extremely slow. Absolutely no sense of urgency. Prepare to be there a minimum of an hour even if ordering a drink. Overall the food was decent, but the ranch was not my favorite.

I found this restaurant online and suggested to our group. They were reluctant, but this was all we found. I was happy with my patty melt meal . One of our group got the flatbread Italian Beef pizza and was very happy with it.

Such a surprise!!! This place was recommended by the bartender at Kennay Distillery and was an excellent one! My ribeye was perfectly cooked and very flavorful! Melted in your mouth and the southern style green beans were great! My husband had the Elote burger and loved it! We will be back!

1st time the Blackstone on Friday july 27th . Lovely barmaid/server gave us excellent service and the food was great.

I stopped here on my way from Chicago to Nebraska. I don't do fast food so I had looked up places when I stopped to get gas at this exit. So glad I did. Probably one of the best burgers I've ever had, and I don't generally eat burgers when I go out. Highly recommend taking the little detour.
