Met a friend for lunch today. First time either of us have been there. Food was average at best. Chicken tenders were dry but fries were good. Salad was nothing special. The restaurant was empty at 12 which should have been an indication of food to us.
I had the ribeye sandwich (medium-rare) with added mushrooms and onions. It was seasoned phenomenally. The taste of salt and pepper was present yet not overly powerful. It fused well with the juices of the ribeye. The Ribeye it's self was tender, moist, and cooked to the medium-rare I had asked for. The portion of meat on the bun was surprisingly larger than I had expected. There was so much that I was not able to close the sandwich without eating some of the Ribeye...
We got the Philly steak sandwich which was outstanding. The french fries were the best we've ever had anywhere. And the sandwich was equally outstanding. I would downgrade my score slightly because the sandwich was a little bit greasy but not enough to take it down to a four.
