This place was a great find! I found them online, and saw the cream puffs, and I was sold. We used Mockingbird for my daughter's baby shower. We did mini scones and mini cream puffs, and they were an absolute hit! The cream puffs were so unique, and were the talk of the shower. So glad we found the Mockingbird!

An excellent up and coming coffee shop. They constantly have new flavors of cookies, muffins, scones, and other assorted treats. Every time I stop in they have new teas and coffee, and recently got an espresso machine too. The owner has decorated the shop in a very welcoming way, and has greeted us by name every time we stop in. A great family owned small business.

I tried a fresh blueberry muffin, absolutely delicious! I also had a frozen cold brew. It was so good! I decided to grab two freshly baked dog bones for my fur baby. They’re also pet friendly!

Lovely coffee shop, welcoming, clean and such delicious house baked cookies, scones, cupcakes,etc.
Mockingbird is by far THE most asthetic and welcoming bakery and coffee shop in a 100 mile radius. It is a world class gem tucked away in Rochester IL and I highly recommend checking it out if you are driving through the Central IL area. I loved the Banana Bread Latte and the frozen hot chocolate is a family favorite.

Last visit I actually sat in your reading room and enjoyed the friendly atmosphere along with my scones while working on a project. Never felt rushed pressured to not just stay and relax.
