I had the chicken curry, I was worried it would be to spicy at first but I gave it a go as the waitress assured me the spicy was an option not a requirement. It was so full of flavor with no spicy I could detect( which is what I asked for) I was highly satisfied. And you could also tell the waitress loved the food there with her enthusiasm of recommendations. A wonderful first time experience.

This was our first time there. Amazing dish. I had lamb meatballs, mild seasoning and buttered Naan bread. Can't wait to come back.

We had the lunch buffet that goes from 11 AM to 2 PM and it was great. They have a large selection to choose from of meat and vegetarian options along with all the Naan you can eat and some indian rice pudding(kheer). If you get the buffet it comes with free soda and delicious masala chai tea. I highly recommend this place as it's the best indian food in the area.

First time here, first time eating Indian food. It was DELICIOUS. The food smelled amazing and tasted that way too. I would recommend trying them out. I had the chicken tika masala I think it was and my wife had curry shrimp. Both excellent. And the bread was very good.

This is the ‘hole in the wall’ sleeper kind of restaurant that you want to find in the Sauk Valley. The food is great. The service also. Extremely considerate and kind people. There are cities with 100,000 residents and those cities don’t have an Indian-American restaurant that serves traditional and modern food as well as they do at Mak’s, which is right here in our Sauk Valley area. Very reasonably priced also. Very substantial portions also. Worth then trip without question.
