Maks American & Indian Bar & Grill

We stopped at Maks Bar and Indian Food while traveling—it was a great spot close to the highway and easy to get to. Everything tasted freshly made, and our waitress was kind and attentive. The mango lassi was smooth and refreshing, the butter chicken was flavorful, and the garlic naan was warm and perfect for dipping. We also enjoyed the bhaji onion rings—crispy and fun to snack on. Overall, a really good meal and a place we’d happily stop at again! They also had pool tables - but we had to get back on the road!

First time EVER in my life, trying Indian cuisine! It was all surprisingly (to me) delicious!! I was extremely skeptical about the spicy (if you know me, you know) shhh Michelle Myers Harford 🤣🥵 The staff was very understanding & helped us all make the best decisions on what to try ! The owner even made us a special sampler appetizer, so we could have several items to test. Everything was delightfully prepared & presented!! Thank you to everyone!!

I had the chicken curry, I was worried it would be to spicy at first but I gave it a go as the waitress assured me the spicy was an option not a requirement. It was so full of flavor with no spicy I could detect( which is what I asked for) I was highly satisfied. And you could also tell the waitress loved the food there with her enthusiasm of recommendations. A wonderful first time experience.

This was our first time there. Amazing dish. I had lamb meatballs, mild seasoning and buttered Naan bread. Can't wait to come back.

We had the lunch buffet that goes from 11 AM to 2 PM and it was great. They have a large selection to choose from of meat and vegetarian options along with all the Naan you can eat and some indian rice pudding(kheer). If you get the buffet it comes with free soda and delicious masala chai tea. I highly recommend this place as it's the best indian food in the area.

Very good food, I love Indian food and didn't think we'd get a legit place here. Also seemed very eager to please and took time to tell us what everything at the buffet was.

First time here, first time eating Indian food. It was DELICIOUS. The food smelled amazing and tasted that way too. I would recommend trying them out. I had the chicken tika masala I think it was and my wife had curry shrimp. Both excellent. And the bread was very good.
