Hidden gem right in Rock Falls!! We had delicious chicken saag and lamb rogan josh. We were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the meal. We will definitely eat here again! If you are looking for something different please give the Indian Cuisine a try. If you have never tried it before, try a chicken korma, butter chicken, or chicken tikka masala. You won't be disappointed! Not all curries taste the same and they can adjust the heat to your liking.
TONS of vegetarian options!! We had the paneer tikka masala, mutter paneer, garlic naan, and mango lassi and it was all amazing! I can’t believe I never knew this place was in Rock Falls!! The waitress was very nice and tentative, they played great music, and we really enjoyed our time. We will definitely be back.
We stopped at Maks Bar and Indian Food while traveling—it was a great spot close to the highway and easy to get to. Everything tasted freshly made, and our waitress was kind and attentive. The mango lassi was smooth and refreshing, the butter chicken was flavorful, and the garlic naan was warm and perfect for dipping. We also enjoyed the bhaji onion rings—crispy and fun to snack on. Overall, a really good meal and a place we’d happily stop at again!
