Recently moved to the Quad Cities and have been so excited to try Alfano's! Did not disappoint! The calzones are massive and stuffed full of toppings. The sauce is seasoned wonderfully, the cheese is perfect, and the veggies are fresh. Alfano's will definitely be my new regular pizza place!

Alfonso's pizza's been in my family for years. I am so amazed that they are still at the same location. My mom was buying pizza there in the 70s and 80s I'm in my 50s now and I remember that piece of being so damn good God bless.

I live out of town and support Alphonos everything I am in town. I went in today to pick up a order and discuss getting about 23 pizzas for an event I am having for the community this Memorial Day weekend and was met with a very dis interested attitude from the son. In the past I have placed large orders from them for Pizzas to take out of town and the mother was very accommodating. All I received from the son was excuses and how he cannot do it. I guess this attitude comes when you have made so much money off of the Community, your customer service go out the window and instead of exploring options with the customer on how to accomplish something, you get excuses. Maybe if business wasn't so good or if the community stop supporting, maybe customer service will return.
I did receive your response Gracie and no adequate options were given. I still received the pizzas, I had multiple people call in during this same time to get multiple pizzas. Now explain the difference of doing the order for one person vs doing the same amount for 5 people? Same oven, same staff, busiest day of the week.
They always had great food and service. It's my go to spot for calzones.

I wish that I had not waited to try their pizza until my son was graduating from Augie. I was told their pizza was fantastic and it did not disappoint at all. Our family is from just outside of Chicago so we have tried several thin crust pizzas in our area. This one is very comparable in quality and taste to some of the best pizza places in the Chicagoland area. Very reasonably priced. Just don’t wait like we did to try it when heading out of town. We will definitely have it again when back in the area. Enjoy!!!
TIP: Pretty much carryout only. We took our pizzas to a picnic area of a local park nearby. They may have a seat or two inside, but pretty much carryout.

Grew up on Alfanos pizza as a kid. It was the best pizza in the world to me. Everytime I visit home the first stop is Alfanos, Canadian bacon and sausage ever since I can remember that's what I ordered. It doesn't taste the same now. Sausage and Canadian bacon is bland and lacking that iconic flavor. Did they change distributors, brands? I hope they read and address this.
