The location of the hotel is what had drawn us to stay at the hotel. However the parking was very cramped and small for the amount of rooms. However there was parking available across the street. Carpets and walls were stained. The bathtub drain did not work. The tile in the bathroom appeared to be painted over. So not the best upkeep at this location. The reason I would give such a low score would be the communication between staff is very low. In our experience the staff lack of communication caused my family to feel unsafe. We had checked in and got to our room. While putting my children to bed we had another 'guest' from what we were told open our door thankfully we had the lock on the door so we did not have someone just walk in to our room. However, that led to my children going into complete panic. I called down to the desk whom said that they would be right up. However, thirty minutes later I discover that the person that said they would be up had left and it was a new shift and he did not even tell the new manager on duty. So by then I am frustrated that no one showed up like they said they would nor did they plan to follow up with us whom the front desk gave a key to our room while we were in it. So I got no sleep and a promise that we were safe. Honestly should have left and found a different hotel they didn't even offer to change our key card so it wasn't the same. Also been over 12 hours since and was told that the general manager would contact us. But I can see that probably will not happen either. Also the manager had stated that it happens and that it was the third complaint. Would not advice staying here. I know I will never stay at that location again.

Front door been out of service for over a month. You'd think they would fix that. Side entrance been changed twice already. Please fix front door instead of renovating.

The restaurant sucks period the fish was horrible. Take that off the menu or learn how to cook it.

Wonderful people working here. Hate the new soap dispensers. Mine was either broken, or in process of getting refilled, not completed. TV location is great for one bed, definitely not for the other. Light switch for bathroom in entry way. There is plenty of wall space if turned around. Sink is too tall for average person, difficult to lean over sink. No towel bars in bathroom. Poor lighting in the room, needs a few brighter lights. No all day coffee. When there was coffee, I've seen darker Tea. Told front desk, they seemed to not care. Best place to eat, across the street. Open 365 days, specifically for flight crews staying over on Holidays.

Pictures make things look better than in person. Remodeling was not from skilled labor. The bathroom faucet stuck out about 2 inches over the sink, not much room to wash your hands, very sketchy area downtown, I would not recommend staying.Rooms: Outdated made to look better than it actually was. Good picture taking on them.Safety: Sketchy area downtown Rock Island Illinois.

The catering has the worse food and may ruin your event. While the environment and staff are excellent, the required use of their catering service is reason to seek another venue. I don't recommend holding an event at this location if they continue to mandate the use of their catering service. Also parking is inadequate for this size hotel and the location.

TV didn’t work.Hair dryer didn’t blow hot air. There was an obnoxious generator or something very noisy that kicked on/off all night (I was on the 8th floor) made it impossible to get a good nights sleep!

We have stayed here several times in recent years. They have a restaurant, but no breakfast free offered with your stay.Definitely a kid friendly hotel, as we heard them playing in the hallway at night, and we saw a hickey stick they left outside their room. Must have forgot it! ??

I really enjoy working here. The clients we host for banquets and weddings have been really nice so far. Plus my manager Donte goes above and beyond to assist with his help.

Will not be staying here again; I should have researched the area better before booking this hotel - there appear to be a lot of boarded up shops and general "not nice" vibes from the neighborhood. The front desk is understaffed so it took quite a while before someone greeted us to get us checked in (although the young man who helped us was very polite). The room was gross with stains all over the floor and walls (bedsheets were clean/without bedbugs, and the bathroom was acceptable). Then while we trying to sleep in the evening, the couple across the hall from us got locked out of their room because the card reader broke. Later in the evening, I could hear someone yelling/cursing/fighting just down the hall from us. Feels like an unsafe location, and we were eager to leave in the morning.

It's not a bad place, but not the best either. We stayed two weeked nights for the 2023 Bluesfest.Housekeeping took towels from our room and didn't replace them.Coffee pods for the Kurieg were only Decaf.Always water on the floor of the elevator. The attached Ale House was nice, but way too many selections of fruity beer for me.There were no antislip or shower mats in the tub/shower. Very slippery. They really need to do something about this. And after flushing the toilet, it took forever to refill. Long enough that you think something is wrong.Would I stay here again. Maybe, but not for the price we paid.

Very comfortable beds, building can definitely use upgrades throughout the building. OVERALL great professional hotel by far in Rock Island. Guest services is beyond amazing... One individual in particular that stood out from the rest of the staff; Sunny is the name. I was just in absolute WOW from the way I was greeted the moment I made my reservation all the way till I checked out. That man is amazing, great heart and is more than willing to go ABOVE AND BEYOND for any guest to make sure you are comfortable and taken care of.

Absolutely fantastic. Front lobby is clean, mini store is well stocked, cold water is always fresh and coffee is hot with flavored creamer offerings through the entire morning. Front desk staff is professional, kind, friendly and helpful. Both Bs kitchen and the Ale House are great. Fresh ingredients, fair prices, big portions and fast. The wait staff is friendly and more than accommodating. At certain times they offer a breakfast buffet and that was clean and fresh even through dozens of people coming through. The room was clean, housekeeping did a great job with the daily restocks. Newer type washer and dryer in the laundry area. The cleanliness in this property is uncomparable--every place I went into smelled of some air freshner and was immaculately clean, down to the base boards and windows. I would stay here anytime I'm in Rock Island. Well lit parking is free for guests and the coupons they offer for the restaraunts are well worth it. I can't say enough good things, thank you!

The breakfast is expensive botcincluded in hotel bill. But breakfast burrito was Awesome! Unless you have a car, you aren't too close to other venues. But there is a nice river bike path nearby.

We stayed one night. The hotel is located downtown Rock Island, not far from the Schwiebert Riverfront Park and with free parking. The hotel is eight stories high and unfortunately only one elevator was working during our visit, so guests had to wait a while to get up and down. Our room was spacious, clean and reasonably quiet with a comfy bed. Breakfast was included in our rate, but the team member at the front desk apparently forgot to give us the voucher needed at check in. The issue was resolved and the breakfast okay, but in spite of the text at the entrance it was not a buffet breakfast. Unfortunately the team member serving us apparently did not have one of her best days. In fact she was rather rude and not as friendly as we would expect at a Holiday Inn, making our breakfast a less happy start of the day than usual.
