Long time Harris Pizza aficionado, like 50 years. Live in another state and always have looked forward to a Harris Pizza upon visiting annually. Seems a few years ago the Locust Street location (Davenport) changed recipes. Definitely not the same pizza. But I heard Harris #1, in Rock Island hung onto the ‘original’ recipe, so I was pleased. Harris pizza has always been a staple of the quad cities. You cant not love it. Always great taste and cooked to order. I would highly recommend sausage pizza with well done crust, adds more crunch! 4 stars for service ( pizza guys are grumpy) but.. I would be to if I dealt with the public!
This was in Davenport Iowa. And when you're looking for a good pizza when you're traveling and you're not at your home pizza shops this is the place it's very good pizza.
