Jims has been a QC Staple for decades. I went there with my parents as a kid and then infrequently in my 20s. I decided to try some for the first time in many years despite warnings that it had lost its glory years ago.Prices: inflation, yes, I know....and it was always pricey, but $35 for 6 small ribs, fries, mac and cheese and extra sauce? I'm not one who shies away from high ticket items as long as they are high ticket quality. Nope!Ribs: Super tough. Not all people try to make it 'fall off the bone' but that's the general way, I think. It was hot, saucy, jerky (maybe because they smoke many days worth at one time but a Friday should be fresh).Mac n cheese: perhaps this 40+ year old restaurant could learn the meaning of 'al dente,' yes it hold true for mac too. This was a bloated soggy, spongy mess.Fries: Hard to mess up fries so no probs there.Sauce: seems about the same as ever.Meal was Ready quick so service is fine, though for the price maybe some time to make stuff fresh is in order. They were friendly, etc etc.Basically. You're best off buying their sauce because they are operating off sauce nostalgia at this point. Watch Youtube amd learn how to make tender ribs at home (its possible even on a gas grill), you'll be far happier and spend half as much.Edit: if you want real deal legit bbq..there's a truck that parks outside of cattleman's meat market in moline. I just tried this place and don't even know what it's called. Trust me. It pits jims to shame.

Nice, family friendly, good food, generous portions. Very possible to share one meal due to portion sizes. BBQ chicken was overcooked. Love both of their BBQ sauces. Offer extra sauce and sweet wash cloths when done.Parking: Limited number of spots

There food is so good, but seems they always run out! Tell me how a rib place, runs out of ribs at 6pm? Something doesn't make sense here, do better! This is how you loose money and customers! If you actually had product, for as much as you charge you would make a killing!
