Ok, yikes. This is a health department must see! So dirty and unsanitary. First time visitor because they had French onion. I felt uneasy eating my bowl of grease with crunchy croutons tossed on top. Went home and showered, still belching up grease and I didn't even finish the "soup". They must have immunity from the RI county health department because there's NO way they'd stay open if anyone checked on them.

I got an order of a hot turkey sandwich with a side of French fries, but the waitress took several minutes after she gave me the sandwich before the fries. Plus, the bathrooms were very unsanitary and looked like they hadn't been cleaned in years.

There was 3 tables seated including ours. Waitress didn’t bring us silverware we had to ask the other waitress. Waitress didn’t fill our drinks, we again had to ask the other waitress. I got fried chicken, it was ok in the sense that it wasn’t dry, its only flavor was grease. My kids got chicken tenders and they were so hard that they couldn’t bite into them. The rest of the food had absolutely ZERO flavor! Not a single speck of seasoning was used. I was highly disappointed all around since everything came with a pretty high price tag I was expecting the food to at least have more flavor and better quality than the hospital cafeteria.
I would give it negative if I could. Taste like water food is trash, 3 people cost me 49$ that’s after they removed mine as I refused to pay! Trash, don’t waste your time, just buy a gallon of water for $1.39 at Walmart as it has more flavor!

Mulkey's is a place we've always made a point of visiting when we come home. My father-in-law was a regular there who everyone always stopped to say hello to. He passed this week at age 97, and Mulkey's was the last place he visited.There's nothing spectacular in the atmosphere there, but while other places are trying to assimilate nostalgia, Mulkey's offers the real deal.
