“Only good thing about this place is the view. Went last night to celebrate a birthday and I spent more time waiting for my beer than being able to sit down and enjoy my time. 10+ minute wait for a beer with only 5 People around the bar is pretty ridiculous. Needless to say I was pretty upset by the end of the night.“

“My family and I were very well accommodated by Colleen (manager) and Erica (server/bartender) for what was an amazing area to host a graduation dinner for family and friends. This private, elegant area would also make a great space for bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, etc. I was obsessed and we were so so lucky to have exceptional service for a short-notice event. We enjoyed the broad selection of drinks from the bar and the delicious food. My favorites were the Mo’ Dough appetizer and the Fowl Play turkey sandwich.“

“Came for the five dollar burger baskets on Monday. We had excellent service. The burger baskets were amazing. They accommodated our group of 10 with a smile. We will definitely be coming back. Shout out to our waitress Becky. She did an excellent job.“

“So about 9 almost 10 years ago I met this nice lady named Kristi she came with a friend that did a guest spot at my tattoo shop in La Crosse, WI. My husband was down there about a month or two ago he came to that bar and she remembered my husband even after he lost over 200lbs. Every time I come down to Illinois I am going to end up here. Great atmosphere and met sooooo many awesome people. Love this place great hometown feel. Food is phenomenal and of course you get Kristi Luv! See you probably in February!!!!!“

“The restaurant looked really nice inside and kept very clean. The young waitress who said she was there for only two months. Did an absolutely fantastic job! As if she’s been doing this for years. I liked how the menu was set up. Well organized with plenty of meals to select from. Without overwhelming a person. The comfort food itself tasted great. Served hot and not taking forever to receive. An overall great atmosphere and experience!“

“It's a great little café. I was able to sit and work for a few hours with no issues. Corrina was very helpful and she seemed to be on top of everything from working with customers and making sure things were filled and ready.I only got a coffee but would still recommend!“

“We arrived in a huge group on a tour bus during a tornado and a flood watch, and unexpectedly our entire group had to stay at the hotel to dine that night. We filled up the entire restaurant, almost every seat. The host welcomed us all with a huge smile and kind words, and made all of us feel welcome. I told her I knew she wasn’t expecting all of us, and I apologized for descending upon her the way we did. She didn’t miss a beat and told all of us that she was so happy we were there, and that she couldn’t wait to make us feel welcome. Within minutes we all had menus, ice water, and some of the most delicious bread and butter I’ve ever had. We got to sit by our friends, no fuss was made, and the ladies that waited on us moved like a well oiled machine taking our orders and bringing our hot food and delicious drinks. I’m bad with names but the host had reddish blonde hair and the other two were a short blonde and a long brown ponytail. There was also a man who was bald who appeared out of nowhere and brought us water and he was so charming. The lady in charge of it all knows what she is doing and has a great team. My table was happy and I think the entire tour bus was pleased as well. Beautiful hotel and beautiful night.“

“A group of men get together on Wednesday's for lunch and comaraderie 3 of us ordered walleye and the other 2 ordered Chicken both orders came with salad bar and everyone enjoyed the time we had together the staff and owner's were all really great 😃👍“

“What a wonderful place! My parents and I have become regulars here because of our favorite 6 ounce filet cooked to perfection, wonderful atmosphere, and the sweetest servers in the world! Thank you to our favorite waitress (blonde lady with glasses) for sending us home with the best peach cobbler in the world!“

“It was my first visit not knowing what to eat . The lady I wish I knew her name .Caucasian mature lady she was exceptional , gave me tips and suggestions. The sandwich was ready in 5mins. No waiting . ** Shocker . The sandwich was great I ate a quarter of it could barely finish it. The king size is great for two meals … jmo . I recommend this if you need a great sandwich . Saved the backed potato for dinner and the rest of sandwich.“
